If we’re going to schedule an FCS team, then by damn schedule one that doesn’t have any chance to beat and embarrass us. The average fan doesn’t know the difference between St. Francis and James Madison. FCS games should be guaranteed wins. I have never understood why any school would schedule a tough FCS game. You gain nothing if you beat them, yet sacrifice quite a bit if you don’t.

Is that our conundrum? I should look more closely at the bracket. If that's the case then, yeah, bring on OU. I caught that as well. Reghi hinted at that due to Demajeo Wiggins' lack of PT. But Riak really does an excellent job shutting Demajeo down. During the game in BUGS I remember thinking I'd never seen Demajeo play so poorly - due to Riak's D. Then Tuesday night Demajeo couldn't do anything. So Idk if BUGS was tanking the game or not, but I do know Riak seems to have Wiggins' number on the defensive end of the floor.

It just gets better and better....sure hope the Ocacek pool doesn't spring a leak and all meets for 2019-20 get cancelled

Yeah. An 8th seed would put us in the direct path of Hurricane Canada. A 6th (need a win and some help) would put Zips in BG bracket. 7th seed (need a win or losses by both NIU and Miami) would be in Toledo pod

Based on Saul's track record, I don't think I want any of his recruits. However, McDay is the exception. I'm also torn because I don't want Saul to get canned...

Gardner-Webb wasn't even a good FCS team, which made it all that more embarrassing. They finished the year 5-6.
