When we appear to be gloating about a Dukes loss it isn't because of any ill will towards KD or his staff. I for one am not going to turn on a game an enjoy watching them lose. He and his staff built a solid program and fan base here. My issue is with the fans who abandoned the Zips when he left and those on here who did nothing but gripe since he left. So I don't mind pointing out that his moving on was a good thing. Occasionally, a divorce leaves everyone better off.

I've been critical of GT's coverage of the Zips over the last couple of years, but he's been okay recently. I like the stuff he is getting from the Groce and the players. Here's hoping he keeps it up.

Just an FYI, Burkhart being medically disqualified keeps a scholarship but his athletic scholarship is given back that can be immediately used towards the 85

Also every time I hear them interview LCJ after the game I like him even better. What a great young man and who would have guessed what kind of player he was going to turn into.

Might be good to face a little adversity and come out with the W in the long run. Have to keep the defensive focus after halftime

Thanks for the update. You cannot rollover unused schollies, but based on the timing of early enrollees, they can apply to the prior year. I am not an expert, but there are rules that allow this to happen. Regarding the additional commits, thanks. I see them on 247. I also see that Zack Leininger is a 3 star transfer at TE. I am also curious about the following that are listed as Zip Hard Commits: Bass, Rosser, Green, and White. Are there enrollment issues? If these all were to sign, the DB signings would be substantial. As I stated originally, I would still love to see some JUCO's that can start immediately. At a minimum, I would love to see one OL and one DL signee that could step in and bolster the lines for the next two years and help get us some wins in 2020.

Joe arrived on campus, having been MVP of the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game (Jimmal Ball also made that honor), and had perhaps 150 pounds on his 6'5" torso. He ended his career in the top 20 scorers in NCAA history. The similarity is the unorthodox, difficult-to-guard style. Don't know if it was Joe's quick feet or ability to jitterbug past degenders who had no idea what he would do next, but it was bewildering, and I see the same looks of Luke Brown. Human highlight film!! Did I say...???

The last three games have been a Blackford loss to mississinewa ( a team ranked in the top 20 i class above Blackford in size ) by 20 some points brown had 32 of the teams 64 and a couple assists. 2nd game Blackford has an epic collapse with a 24 point lead in the third quarter which they lost in overtime to Winchester where brown had 54 and a handful of assists ....tonight they beat frankton by nearly 30 brown had 31 and 7 by my count

Pinky benched his entire starting lineup for the start of the game. Buffalo starters were getting outplayed by Kent's bench. Both these teams suck.

Commending comments from a player who has many excuses to sulk. A player who transferred from a program that had the biggest turnaround in the country right after he left, played on an 0-12 team, was kicked out of a game and reprimanded on TV by the coach (the horror ?). I do believe Arth has been a culture changer off the field. Let's hope we are really building something here and the change also comes on the field sooner rather than later!
