I have been posting on this board for several years and there are certain discussions that seem to pop up year after year. However this year is different. Here is my list of threads we will not see this year. Please feel free to add to this list: Akron does a terrible job of promoting Akron basketball and getting butts in the seats. The fans in the blue seats sit on their hands and show little enthusiasm for the team. Which Akron player do you want to see with the ball at the end of the game with the game on the line? Which Akron player has shown the most improvement from last year? Why can't Akron recruit a guard who can control the game like D. J. Cooper? We need a new coach that can win a NCAA tournament game.

Zool Kueth (wasn't he one of the evil spirits in Ghostbusters? ;-)) is 4-4 on threes. Need a bit more defense on him I'd just be guessing.

perfect storm for them. nothing to lose. been sitting in a hotel for 3 days. came out and gave the Zips a game. Won't see them in Cleveland, thank goodness.

Also, still getting use to the commentary that is strictly on the game with no insights into MAC basketball from 20 years ago and degrading comments about the players. Jackie and Reghi are doing a great job.

Interesting point. Now would be a great time for leadership to change the seating arrangements in the JAR to get students closer (if they wanted to).

It'll be interesting to follow as we near the end of conference play, but I wonder if Toledo is starting to wear down with their 7 man rotation. I said it before and I'll say it again - I'd feel very confident against them in the MAC-C. Let's just hope we get there and don't need to play them until the finals.
