I am just so thankful that the NBA lets the college players with remaining eligibility come in for evaluations and gives them a pre-draft estimate of where they will be drafted (or not likely to be drafted). There was nothing worse than when a kid would leave early to declare for the draft and go undrafted. Even better, Freeman is coming back and not heading to a bigger program for one year. RayJ to Baylor comes to mind... I cannot wait to get back to the JAR for this team.

Shooting Stars Movie Fun movie about Lil Dru's influence on the Fab Four. A few scenes shot in the JAR with the Z on the floor. 😂 Casting is also entertaining, I like Dermot Mulroney playing KD. The movie has some artistic licensing, for those of you that don't appreciate that.

Bump for update. Although multiple players have positional flexibility, I separated them into groups by cornerback, nickel, and safety. One note here is the high amount of scholarship defensive backs on the roster. Most programs keep around 15 scholarship DBs and we have 20 at the moment.

I’m behind on updating this list and trying to get all the new offers into the Rivals database. I expect we will see a few more 2024 commitments and a number of new offers in the coming weeks. Especially with the camps kicking off next weekend.

Not technically professional but it fits in this thread. The Soccer Tournament (TST), sister of The Basketball Tournament (TBT), started today and I saw a couple former Zips on the Kingdom FC roster. Thomas Schmitt and Luke Holmes are both on that team. I didn’t see a ton of the other rosters so there may be more Zips out there. This is the first year for this 7v7 tourney, but it would be great to see a Zips alumni team in there at some point.

If you were disappointed in these individual predictions, you have a real treat coming when these guys predict the place the Zips will finish in the MAC East.

We also had a glimmer of hope when Bowden took the Zips to Boise and beat Utah State for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. That was a sweet game and we had hope, which went to the gutter until Joe arrived.

I think Memphis should draft Emoni. I think JA Morant would be a good mentor.

I agree w/ everyone here. IMHO Enrique is the best post I've ever seen play for the Zips. I'm even putting him ahead of Jeremiah Wood - possibly my all-time favorite Zip. On my short list he's also ahead of Romeo Travis, Zeke Marshall, and Tree Treadwell. Enrique will make good money playing professional ball... just not in the NBA. He'd have an excellent shot at the NBA if he played in the 80's, but not nowadays. He's simply not big enough. In today's NBA, at Enrique's size, you've got to be able to stroke 3's from 10 feet behind the line. Today's NBA players are just insanely talented.

He’ll be back. I don’t think he’ll like the feedback he’s gonna get. NBA nowadays is all about spacing and shooting. To me Rique is an undersized true back to the basket 5. I don’t see him being able to match up with the Jokers and Embiid’s of the world those guys are 7ft can play make and shoot it! I also don’t see him transitioning to a wing anytime soon. Said all that to say I think we’re safe.

Being honest, he just does not fit as an NBA player, he will be back I am guessing. We truly need him for next year to be competitive!

Got a little scared when I first saw this, but I still expect he will be back next season.

They are listed by the date they were offered (oldest at the top and most recent at the bottom). Unfortunately, Rivals doesn’t list that in their data. 247 does, but it’s often wrong. When I see an offer has been issued, or a prospect reaches out to me on Twitter, I’ll update the profile and post here. Every now and then I’ll go back through and update the prospects’ offer list.

Maybe, but if so somebody needs to get the word out to the local baseball guys because as I said, that's the word spreading out there in the baseball community.
