  1. Joe said last week that 60-70% of the Zips recruits will come from the portal. So if we have 12 to 13 '24 freshmen committed, that's pretty much it. Barring de-commits and other attrition.

  3. That didn't take long. Ah I found Dahvon's profile finally on Rivals. Wasn't pulling up in my Google search.

  4. Yes. WVU just offered in May, so they weren’t stale offers. How much WVU pushed, I don’t know. I’m sure Moorhead and staff made these kids a priority.

  6. Where are you seeing OU offered both? 247 only has OU offering Jahvon. Jahvon's build looks like Myles Garrett. Holy smokes. I'm surprised to hear that Dahvon looks like the more explosive one, just based on build. Incredible gets. This staff knows how to get it done. Can't wait to see the results on the field.

  7. There’s a lot to unpack here, but first, what a class this is turning out to be! That Bryan Station team has some serious talent. Outside of our 3 commits they also have 3 star DB/ATH JT Haskins, who we’ve also offered. One of the Rivals writers at Louisville has forecasted Haskins to Louisville. Although, that was back in January so I’m not sure how much has changed. Dahvon Frazier seems to be the most explosive of the bunch and should play OLB or “WILL” in the 4-2-5 alignment. Jason Hocker should play ILB or “MIKE. He’s a thumper similar to the other LBs that Tibesar has brought in. Jahvon Frazier will likely be slotted as a weakside DE or “rush end.” Jahvon is another edge type that can really run. Im guessing the twins told all the programs they were a package deal seeing as they had all the same offers. Recruiting win over West Virginia, Marshall, and Ohio (amongst others). Now we need to hang on to them until signing day….

  9. It seems to me that the admin got a little cocky and thought they could dump PEG to save $ and only use students/full time university employees to run the sound board and video board production and it was an unmitigated disaster. A month later at the next home game, all the usual people were back in that booth. Unfortunately for the 2023 season, the video board is still going to be a piece of junk, but my understanding is PEG & the rest of the crew will still be in place. That is my hope of course. But we will still be waiting for the new video board. Apparently the money stopped before that point.

  10. I wonder if they have "repaired" their relationship with PEG. That has a lot of bearing on the video board's working or not...someone who knows how to actually run it and make graphics for it. The St. Francis game was an absolute fiasco, with just the SFU and UA logos displayed the whole game. PEG is a diampnd in the rough in the school's back yard with plenty of alums...why damage that relationship? I see on GoZips.com that we finally have a Marketing Assistant AD after going without for the majority of last year, and utilizing 3 or 4 GAs to do all the Marketing campaign. Maybe having him on board is a start....
