  1. Unfortunately, that's all you get after years of awful football. Nobody cares except the staff, players, players' families and about 20 posters on here. As a result, nobody from the press really covers the games, attends press conferences or asks the tough questions.

  2. So that's why the women's soccer match on Sunday vs. Boston College had such poor attendance numbers! 🤣😂

  3. I was at the game, from what I could see I could not see him there in warm-ups or during the game on the sidelines.

  5. Credit to Josef Paulus for being a leader....and trying to inspire some of his teammates that did not want to be on the field last night. On the broadcast, Chad Welker raved about the great attendance. Attendance was 1,198. I am sad to see how much expectations have been lowered for men's soccer. I don't know how many of the 1,198 fans were first time attendees. After last night's lethargic, disinterested performance by the zips, I suspect that most of the first time attendees will not come back to see another Zips men's soccer game. Please get healthy, very soon....Dyson Clapier. You were greatly missed last night.

  6. Mitch Budler gets the nod over Seth Wilson, but the gap between the two is not great. In fact, the gap is probably narrowing. Wilson deserves kudos for his performance versus Vermont. Budler looked rusty last night versus Southern Indiana. Zips fans should be comfortable with either GK.

  7. My biggest takeaway is that we still can't Finish.

  8. Someone asked why attendance has been on a downward trajectory. I can't help but think it's: 1&2) us winning neither the MAC Championship nor an NCAA match since 2018, and 3) games like last night - which simply aren't very good spectator events. I watched on tv and found myself playing with my phone more so than watching the "action" on the pitch. Is Jared capable of lighting a fire in this team? It's been over 4 years now... I know he had awfully big shoes to fill when Porter left, but... it's been years... something's... off.

  9. What was that awful display we watched last night? Lots of players on the bench who probably actually wanted to play but for some reason didn’t get the opportunity. Alen Kapic looked great for the few minutes he had but was subbed out…why? smh

  10. He did not. Possible he wasn’t on the travel roster.

  11. One scary thought that has crept into my head is that, as far as I have seen, Billy Fessler has a much larger role in the offense this year. If it continues to be a problem, it is almost spooky how well that would mirror the situation we used to have of Bowden/Milwee. Two head coaches who are widely known as great offensive minds who hand off control to a largely unproven, young OC. It absolutely did not work out the first time, so let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.
