  1. I know. Imagine what PCCC fans are thinking... "Man... Akron gets another player who knows that 61 is greater than 60..."

  2. It would be a killer for baseball...but I doubt we'd ever be able to field a competitive baseball team regardless of our available scholarships. Soccer would find a way to match whatever the P5 boys would do. And few of them will ever take soccer seriously. If P5's went to 95 football scholarships I don't think it would matter. You can still only play 11 guys on either side of the ball, and the guys that can't cut it will transfer out within a year. Stupid era we're in in college sports right now. I hate it. But it isn't going to get better.

  4. Scarcity can create demand. I don't think I've ever bought a Zips football ticket in advance as I know I can just walk up to the gate and get one the day of the game. If they Zips 5500 seat arena suddenly seats 4500, you're going to see more and more people look to buy tickets in advance fearing it selling out. This is good for attendance as they're now committed to going. People who plan to just buy the day of the game can be flakey.

  5. Thanks for the grunt work that you do. It's appreciated by us casuals who still want to stay somewhat informed.

  6. Should be in the next few weeks. Coaches typically press for an answer from portal players after a few weeks have gone by. They want their rosters set for the spring and summer. Forgot to add I doubt we see many (if any) commitments from the older offers that went out.

  7. It’s both quality and quantity. As far as Rivals is concerned, they’ve reverted back to listing most G5 commitments as 2 stars (5.2 - 5.4), although some later commitments did manage to keep their 3 star ratings if they were already rated as such. Portal transfers to G5s are usually listed anywhere from 2 or 3 stars. Rivals is the closest to having all the MAC commitments listed. On a side note, On3 and 247 are easier to navigate and have a better interface but they are missing a high number of MAC commitments. I’ve kept the first page up to date for our ease of use here. Moorhead’s staff has definitely upped the quality of players being recruited. Unfortunately it didn’t show up in the win column last year, but hopefully it will this year.

  8. Hard to keep track of all this movement. Will they have a completely new O Line then? Thanks for all your work on this @Catdaddyp

  9. 20-30? 😉 I think they're the same seats that were there when it opened in 1983.

  11. I wouldn't be opposed to paying for a cushioned chairback as well. I more so brought it up because many complained about ticket prices during the season.

  12. No question. I'm sure there would be a price jump but it might be worth it to have something that resembles a decent arena. One of the reasons I've opted for the GA seating (other than being really cheap) is that the seatbacks aren't any more comfortable than the bleachers.

  13. Chris left the mound with. 3 run lead giving up 1 run in 6.3 innings. That should be good for a W, but I’m headed outside for awhile.

  14. If they do that, that likely means both sides would likely go to reserved seating therefore reserved seating prices.
