After the loss to Canada the Puerto Rican team traveled to the Bahamas. Next game is Monday 7pm; Bahamas vs Puerto Rico. A match-up of Sammy Hunter vs Enrique Freeman.

I obviously haven't kept up on the NBA this offseason. I still thought Minnesota had Julius Randle and Naz Reid. That certainly makes Freeman's pathway to earning minutes more manageable.

I can't wait for camp to open up next week !!! Right now we are tied for first in the MAC... I don't know how long that will last but I can enter the season cautiously optimistic.... I hope the qb can bring back his Albany numbers....

Not sure where you got your info but other than Gobert and McDaniels the rest of the PF and C players are a bunch of youngsters and journeyman types.

The main problem with Freeman and the Timberwolves is the T-Wolves depth is at the PF and C positions. 5 out of Minnesota's top 7 paid players are PF or C. It would probably require an injury or trade for Freeman to get a consistent 5-10 mpg at the NBA level.

Shammah posted an Instagram story that looks like he was working out with the Cavs or Charge. Anyone know any details?

I was under the impression that the first round matchups are based off of preseason projections, not last year results. That said, with roster turnover as rampant as it is I'm not even going to dive in to attempt to determine who will be and won't be good in the SunBelt. I follow the MAC more closely than most and I would struggle to rank them 1-12 with any confidence. No chance I could do it with the SB.

That's a good point. Now that I've had a few minutes to reconsider, I think the SunBelt Challenge is an awesome event and tradition for the MAC. Would love to have the Chanticleers at the JAR.

Once we beat Wake and Minnesota we'll be favored in all of them
