personally i would prefer nike over adidas, but i don't see any changes coming soon. what gets me is that adidas doesn't make the warm up suit jackets etc with blue and gold. it's all gold or navy with gray and white highlights. to me that's disappointing especially when blue and gold are some of the more common school colors. oregon football is always going to have something wacky and new... just because they can. i don't like the look of those b-ball uniforms and i don't think the long sleeve thing will last. i can't see how that would be comfortable. in football, yes because you wear pads etc. but b-ball - no way.

yeah, we didn't make it. it was a long shot going into the qualifier because the season averages were just too low. the ncaa averages your top three matches shot at different locations and weights it (50%) then they take your qualifier match score and weight that (50%). our season average was too low and it didn't help that our top few scores were all home matches, so only the highest one counted into that average.

I totally disagree with that mentality.We should be ambitious and always strive to be better. First we fill the seats and then we want the seats to be filled with rowdy people and then you ask the AD to expand the JAR and then you complain about not filling the 10,000 seats etc...this is how you achieve a great bball program not by settling to whatever you can get. i couldn't agree with you more skhorbotly

all i see here is blah blah blah... fuck the women. they suck.well i went to the women's game, and it wasn't that bad. they were down by double digits and pulled within three coming down the stretch. it was a bad day for shooting, but heck they went 100% from the free throw line with 16 or 17 attempts. i'd like to see the men do that. i was also disappointed with the rowdies showing. there was no swipe thingy, and the rowdies were over shadowed in their cheering by the band. crap, the mothers i sat around were the loudest people in that building besides kest. many people complain that women's games are boring or whatever, but every team should get support even if it's only because they zips too.

i think it's really interesting that the women's game put up more points than the men's AND the men even went into overtime! sounds like you got a good game either place tonight... although 2 wins would have been even nicer.

That's true, a few years ago (the year we lost to WMU), there were CMU fans sitting with us and rooting against WMU just because they hated WMU! The ushers don't care where you sit!For the Rowdies that didn't get the e-mail, as far as I know, they selected the 50 people that have attended the most men's basketball games, women's basketball games, and the other games on the "Official AK-Rowdies Schedule" they gave you when you signed up. ithat sounds fair. i know i've been to a lot of games, but i also know that i'm not one of the ones who's been to the most games.

i was talking to cedrick one day, telling him how much i loved watching him play. i asked him about starting versus coming off the bench, and he just said that he does whatever coach needs him to do. it's that type of attitude i love to see with this team. it seems that each person really buys into the team concept and accepts their role even if it doesn't seem to add to their personal glory. could ced start? heck yes he could, but it's also great that we have that spark coming off the bench. that's what i like about this team.

with the amount of screaming and cheering that is done in the rowdies section, would it hurt to hand out say bottles of water at half time? when big chad's voice goes out on a cheer... i think it would just help keep people going longer and keep the rowdies refreshed enough to keep the opponents (in tonights case, the refs) down.

for anyone watching the game, what did the commentators say about the officiating. i mean they had to have said something between the missed shot clock violation (obvious) and the amount of booing directed at the officials.

abj lies should i say misrepresents the truth, so the fact that you cite one of the shittiest papers i have ever come across means nothing to me. also the chances of being assigned to a dorm with a felon are slim to none. maybe if you really were a prof here you'd keep up on the news around campus

was there and GREAT win. still too many turnovers, but a win is a win. i agree that the game today was fun to watch and i would also like to add that toledo's uniforms looked like shit. the cut of the tops made them look like they were sports bras... too weird. oh and does anyone have the tally on how many blocked shots we had? amazing!

the old logos are just that - old. i don't see anything wrong with the "a" and roo head, but my favorite is just the roo alone.
