after hearing stories from my coach (uapd) i think it is safe to say that a couple of the mayday riots were as bad as what osu just did, if not worse. one year people torched a couch and then flipped the fire truck that was responding and torched that. a couple years of riots later, the cops figure things out and arrest anyone and everyone for any infraction possible. they used zip-tie like hand cuffs and hauled people away on city busses. on year they arrested over 200 people. on the other side thought, they found out that the majority of rioting students weren't even akron students, rather they were students from nearby colleges that only wanted to party and riot. i just wonder how many more years are the police going to be so suppressive.

me and some of my teammates sat kinda near the door, and later in the game osu fans started to trickle in. there were a few surprised looks at seeing so many akron fans, and the atmosphere was awesome. oh and rowdy, i saw your car, nice

overall i'd have to say macc just because there was more on the line than a win, but damn...ncs game was something else. i think i got more excited about it at the end.

the majority of ones that were in the third quarter where i could scream "throw the damn ball" about five times before he threw it away. i know some of it was that he didn't want to chance it (and we don't get to see the recievers being covered on tv), but watch the game again and see how much time he gets. i'm just saying this can't be completely blamed on the o-line. oh yeah...harvey is a beast!

i completely disagree. getsy had PLENTY of time on several of his plays, but decided to wait, then scramble, then throw it away. the drives at the end were when he didn't stand around but passed right away. i think he's more effective with the quicker releases. o-line did fine. i don't expect them to be able to keep the d away for 10 minutes while our qb is picking his nose. i will say, however, that the o line did have too many penalties.

bobbyake brought up a good point on facebook. does anyone know if johnny's cards at the door? cause i want to make sure i can get in before bringing my other under-21 teammates only to be rejected at the door.

i'm just the opposite. i like having the slickest, newest looking uniforms out there. although i think when it comes to like say, oregon, that's a little over the top. of course if the creator of nike was an akron alum i think we'd be doing close to the same thing. overall the look is too much like last year's for me to really care about. as long as we win!

actually yesterday the university did "student appreciation day" and gave out a ton of fear the roo t-shirts. later that day the store in the jar had a sidewalk sale cleaning out the old. i got a bunch of $5 t's for gifts. i thought it all was a great idea, cause now student who got shirts (i was in class and didn't get one ) have no excuse not to be wearing akron.

this makes no sense. the field is fine, and grass grows back. if it was some sort of mud pit every game then i would have cause to complain. anyways there are more important things to spend money on like a new stadium for football. i'm not saying it's more important because football is more important, rather we need all ua sports to be on campus. soccer already has that and softball just got it, so now football and eventually tennis will need places to play before soccer needs a new field.

yeah, but it's still really annoying. also seeing how many people don't like the new features, i wouldn't be surprised to see it change really soon.

on one side i like the fact i can see who adds new photos and stuff, but on the other side i hate the fact that everyone else can see when i do it too. i also hate that minifeed thing on my own page.BUT i was looking on the help file and if you go to your "mini feed" you can delete those stories and no one else can see them either. also, if you have restricted someone's access of your profile, than mini feed will be restricted if it's set that way.

i went to the home opener (and wanted to go sunday but my roommate just HAD to shoot, so we went to the range instead). what i saw was a lack of being able to finish on their shots. they had a lot of opportunities that went way high. also, last year's team was much more crisp on their passes and control. we still have a few guys that have amazing foot work, but it's going to be a lot tougher road to the ncaa. i believe we can do it.

i was disappointed to see the punter drop the snap, but was impressed that he was able to pick it up and get it off, only to be completely leveled in midair by a psu guy.

i was pretty pissed about the whole panini's thing, cause they advertised it as an akron tailgating party, then right before kick off turn all tv's onto the osu game. screw that.

were you in the green shirt? i was the one against the opposite wall with my teammate, slamming my fists down on the table everytime we f-ed up. on the bright side can't lost what? 44-0?

yeah well screw panini's! i was down there and right as the game is about to start a waitress switches over the tv at my table to the osu game. i had her change it back, but she told me that i just won't be able to listen to it. then i saw the same chick turn the wall pic, but someone (i assume from this board) was showing her the flier that said zips tailgate party. finally, they turned about half of the tv's over, but still in my mind that's a bunch of b.s. to advertise one thing and do another. and i was disappointed in the o-line as well as some of getsey's decisions.
