Funny he mentioned Clemson retaining their staff because last I checked nobody still wants their unpaid intern ?. Even I-Coach was good enough to land a position coach job after his disaster at Akron.
TBS/CBS would prefer fans at the game I'd imagine. the 20k in attendance instead of watching games on TV doesn't even move the needle in ratings. Large crowds create an atmosphere that makes games more exciting to TV viewers.
I'm on self quarantine until the 23rd. I'm not showing symptoms, but my company told everyone to work from home for the next two weeks and I just want a break from people. Get off my lawn
If the MAC decides to play the tournament without fans, that would be a huge advantage to NIU if we face them. Their players are use to playing in empty arenas ?
Yes, the long storied 4 year tradition has been cancelled. I'm sure the Harvard team and their fans are a little upset. They beat Yale 2x this year and they were the ones that were hosting the tournament this year.
Yale, Liberty, and ETSU have all clinched their conferences tourney bid. Akron probably needs at the very least for SFA to lose to have a hope at the 12 seed. Preferably both SFA and Vermont.
PCCC hasn't won 4 games in a row since November back when they were playing cupcakes. I don't see them suddenly doing it in March.
Edit: I'm guessing Ball State is the team that comes out of the other side of the bracket. They play the best defense in the MAC and defense travels.
You wouldn't see re-seeding for the semi's because of the quick turnaround. The last quarterfinal game may end at near midnight. They aren't going to turn around and make that team play again 17 hours later. That's why the winner of the noon game plays the winner of the ~2:30 game. Both teams get 24+ hours of rest between games.
We went 2-0 against then and they think we're scared? Sure, I would have preferred playing CMU as we could have beaten them without having to break a sweat.
Akron looks like a pretty heavy Vegas favorite to win the MAC tournament.

Last year they announced the All-MAC team the day of the campus round games (so today and right about this time). The individual awards I believe they hold off until Tuesday.
