  1. Since we beat Ohio and Ohio best Toledo and couple that with the extra four days of rest...should be no problem for the Zips
  2. We only have 45 minute drive to the Q. Toledo has a short trip to Ford Field. All equals out unless you are a Redhawk or a Kitten.
  3. Yeah, and it doesn't look good.
  4. Love that. Hokey but really cool. We need that connection and spirit.
  5. I was looking online and there are some travel sites that will give you distance from hotel to Ford Field. I saw a hilton garden inn that was .02 miles from the Field. HGIs are always good. If I go, I would probably look for something in walking distance. If game is at noon that screws up any check out.
  6. Meanwhile in Athens...."sickening." http://www.bobcatattack.com/messageboard/topic.asp?FromPage=1&ForumPID=6&PID=248522
  7. They had a home basketball game and the rival football game on the same night? yes, that's rhetorical.
  8. This game is such a buzz kill. Dear President Wilson: Please make Keith Kennedy stop!
  9. I was just thinking before the interception how Ohio Us turnovers really helped us...and then... I have a gift.
  10. I don't think they were ordered and installed with the intent not to use them for individual stats. Im sure the coaching staff considered that away games would have those stats displayed, so I gather this is an attempt to engrain a mindset into the players. Personally, I don't understand the angst about this, but we all watch the game with different perspectives.
  11. And KSUcks.
  12. I'm perfectly OK with this, and I haven't complained about the fan experience. Anything else?
  13. I don't care if it's a blizzard or a hurricane we will be there and in Detroit! The more miserable the better!!!
  14. Confirmed a 3rd time. No individual stats. So far it is working. I was always more interested in seeing which of the opposing team was scoring well not as much the Zips.
  15. I guess this is why they have equipment managers. Of course this reminds me of last week's penalty for having two #7s on field at same time.
  16. I didn't know the logos were decals. I thought they were all separate helmets. .
  17. We are definitely in the honeymoon stage.
  18. The plot thickens. I received another confirmation on the nixing of individual stats. I hope this doesn't turn into "StatGate." I personally prefer having the overall stats displayed more than the individual...but I'm sure Skip Zip will have the opposite point of view
  19. I'm the guilty party in stating this as fact based on 2nd hand info. So I will try and track down the answer. But I know I didn't see any individual stats during last game and didn't notice any at CSU game.
  20. I appreciate the proper use of "too" and "couldn't care." . Keep posting!
  21. I was thinking the same thing last night. I haven't YET had any of those "Kwan!!!! don't shoot" moments, though last night I did cringe a few times. I think it was Eubanks who made a sloppy turnover and the Coach yanked him for the game. As said before, the entire coaching staff is really involved during the game. Dustin Ford let out a yell at someone last night that reverberated through the JAR. I like how during timeouts Groce and his staff first have a short discussion and regroup before they bring in the players.
  22. I'm now used to the all team stats. To me it's ultimately more beneficial to see the other teams shooting % and the rebounds and turnovers. It gives me a better overall sense of the game as it's going on.
  23. I've been there for two games. I never saw individual stats. Maybe they went up at halftime, but I never saw them during the game. So, yes, I think it's true. Someone told me this during the game tonight for whatever that is worth. But makes sense.
