Confirmed a 3rd time. No individual stats. So far it is working. I was always more interested in seeing which of the opposing team was scoring well not as much the Zips.
The plot thickens.
I received another confirmation on the nixing of individual stats. I hope this doesn't turn into "StatGate." I personally prefer having the overall stats displayed more than the individual...but I'm sure Skip Zip will have the opposite point of view
I'm the guilty party in stating this as fact based on 2nd hand info. So I will try and track down the answer. But I know I didn't see any individual stats during last game and didn't notice any at CSU game.
I was thinking the same thing last night. I haven't YET had any of those "Kwan!!!! don't shoot" moments, though last night I did cringe a few times. I think it was Eubanks who made a sloppy turnover and the Coach yanked him for the game.
As said before, the entire coaching staff is really involved during the game. Dustin Ford let out a yell at someone last night that reverberated through the JAR. I like how during timeouts Groce and his staff first have a short discussion and regroup before they bring in the players.
I'm now used to the all team stats. To me it's ultimately more beneficial to see the other teams shooting % and the rebounds and turnovers. It gives me a better overall sense of the game as it's going on.
I've been there for two games. I never saw individual stats. Maybe they went up at halftime, but I never saw them during the game. So, yes, I think it's true. Someone told me this during the game tonight for whatever that is worth. But makes sense.
Lead from start to finish. Groce only allows team stats on the side boards. Which is rather cool...didn't know Utomi was at 26 points until I read it on here.
What does this mean? Can you give an example of a bad "in game" decision he made or didn't make? A cite to an article? If you recruit well, the in game decisions get a lot easier.
One of my guilty pleasures in life is reading Bobcat Attack after they lose to us in basketball or football. Anyone with a random thought over there will start a thread with titles like "And the sad thing is..." Or "Akron is pathetic."
Their hatred of us borders on delusional.
