  1. I'm perfectly OK with this, and I haven't complained about the fan experience. Anything else?
  2. I don't care if it's a blizzard or a hurricane we will be there and in Detroit! The more miserable the better!!!
  3. Confirmed a 3rd time. No individual stats. So far it is working. I was always more interested in seeing which of the opposing team was scoring well not as much the Zips.
  4. I guess this is why they have equipment managers. Of course this reminds me of last week's penalty for having two #7s on field at same time.
  5. I didn't know the logos were decals. I thought they were all separate helmets. .
  6. We are definitely in the honeymoon stage.
  7. The plot thickens. I received another confirmation on the nixing of individual stats. I hope this doesn't turn into "StatGate." I personally prefer having the overall stats displayed more than the individual...but I'm sure Skip Zip will have the opposite point of view
  8. I'm the guilty party in stating this as fact based on 2nd hand info. So I will try and track down the answer. But I know I didn't see any individual stats during last game and didn't notice any at CSU game.
  9. I appreciate the proper use of "too" and "couldn't care." . Keep posting!
  10. I was thinking the same thing last night. I haven't YET had any of those "Kwan!!!! don't shoot" moments, though last night I did cringe a few times. I think it was Eubanks who made a sloppy turnover and the Coach yanked him for the game. As said before, the entire coaching staff is really involved during the game. Dustin Ford let out a yell at someone last night that reverberated through the JAR. I like how during timeouts Groce and his staff first have a short discussion and regroup before they bring in the players.
  11. I'm now used to the all team stats. To me it's ultimately more beneficial to see the other teams shooting % and the rebounds and turnovers. It gives me a better overall sense of the game as it's going on.
  12. I've been there for two games. I never saw individual stats. Maybe they went up at halftime, but I never saw them during the game. So, yes, I think it's true. Someone told me this during the game tonight for whatever that is worth. But makes sense.
  13. Lead from start to finish. Groce only allows team stats on the side boards. Which is rather cool...didn't know Utomi was at 26 points until I read it on here.
  14. Almost had it closed out. I'm stating obvious...no inside presence.
  15. What's a SID?
  16. Right, of course, no flaws in that logic.
  17. What does this mean? Can you give an example of a bad "in game" decision he made or didn't make? A cite to an article? If you recruit well, the in game decisions get a lot easier.
  18. One of my guilty pleasures in life is reading Bobcat Attack after they lose to us in basketball or football. Anyone with a random thought over there will start a thread with titles like "And the sad thing is..." Or "Akron is pathetic." Their hatred of us borders on delusional.
  19. I watched some of the NIU/WMU game tonight. The NIU stadium looked pretty empty to me, and they went to the Orange Bowl a few years back.
  20. For the record, I would have said 2%. But I'm an optimist!!
  21. Balsy nailed it!
  22. Yeah, this article is another..."if it weren't for a missed field goal" diatribes about how the other team was really better but...
  23. Elton's way of letting us know he was actually at the game.
  24. I woke up whistling The Blue and Gold this morning.
  25. Looks like Kato is ok despite his limping a bit after the game which you can see if you watch the replay.
