Word. That 1200 # seems like a lot. Do they know something we don't? If we weren't such a polite crowd, we would find clever ways of showing our disapproval for these activities.

Ugh. five minutes after typing this I thought to myself...hmm...that wasn't right. Win out at home and we win the MAC. Nice place to be.

Or if we win our two home games and one of our remaining away games we will have sole possession of first place? (Ugh. My math skills are bad, too.).

I've probably been the biggest hand wringer about playing certain teams in Cleveland. But I also know how Cleveland plays out has much to do with "Luck" (someone named Ken said we are the best in the country in that area) and the seeding. Maybe it was the 2009 season when we got a real benefit falling to the 3 seed instead of having the 1 seed because we ended up on the Ball State side of things and the war of attrition really benefited us. The way things are going now the seedings of 1, 2, and 3 being Zips, Bulls, and Cats may/could be a real benefit to us. Is Buffalo better than us? Doubt it. Our last two games have been pretty much even. They are winning one way. We are winning our way. True believers at other schools may not see us as this sleek, athletic team but have to worry that we are finding ways to win. I'm sure the coaching staff would certainly be cheering if SUNY Canada gets knocked off in the quarters by Western Michigan. But you know our team has to be hungrier for it this year than any other team and as Coach said after the game "the law of averages" usually evens things out.

Totally psyched for Friday.

Heard the same thing and have to agree but in this game we had a cushion and it was worth the risk.

It's very hard, no, impossible to take seriously any "formula" that considers "luck" in the equation. I also think any 20 people with little basketball knowledge could probably come up with brackets that are similar to the final product. Just tell them that they have to consider $$$ as a tiebreaker in all cases.

We won't see Nick Dials on the bench this year since UT coach fired him end of last year. I remember a few years ago they took it to us at home and beat us twice in one season. See this game as tougher than the Ravenna game.

Well my taking them lightly won't hurt the Zips too much. We were hardly embarrassed.

Assuming Central lays smackdown on Miami today, looks like the top 3 seeds are crystallizing and hopefully an epic brutal semi final ensues between Bulls and Chipps in Cleveland.

The day after we beat Ball State they had a full article on the Zips and one on the Ravenna loss to BG. That game deserved a reporter? But this should probably be in a different thread

Looks like there is/will be some separation developing and Zips, Bulls, Chipps, and Kittens will be top four seeds. Hopefully, in that order.

(And we all know if a certain team from Ravenna were 21-4, the ABJ would be covering each game like the Super Bowl: an article from an actual reporter and a separate column each game from Marla comparing this team to the glory years and maybe something about how Senderoff is second coming of Stan Heath.)

I really like these Friday wins! Makes for a stress-free weekend.
