I do believe that players like Dawson or Scott should drive to the basket more. But the offense that we run, through Freeman back to basket, is a good system for what we currently do. We wouldn't still be doing this 25 games in to the season if the staff and most importantly the players believed in one another to take those 3s. Its been a tough shooting couple of weeks, but I don't think we are going to change how Enrique handles the ball, so the shots just have to fall sometime

I think Sammy played pretty well today, he was active down low more than normal and took good shots for the most part. Not a crazy game for him, but a performance like that is just what we need

The G League Ignite SUCK. From my POV I believe it is just a bunch of overhyped HS players who just want to play for themselves. Before last night, they had a record of 1-18. I do think that the G League in general is a good option if players have the potential to be 1 and done, but the way the Ignite is built just isn't the way to go. They try and promise these players that they will all the be star player on the team just like HS, but no one learns how to play a role and play as a team

The team got out there and played baseball again, on a brand new field. He had a very tough hand dealt to him

I think the timing of this game will be beneficial. It was right around this time 2 years ago when we had the 3 game losing streak before going on to win the MAC. I don’t think we will need to kick anyone off the team like Trimble, but have time with the week off to make some changes before the final 7 games of the regular season
