Couple serious questions: 1) why would Akron want a new conference, what does this do to help them? 2) why in the hell would another conference want Akron (in football - which usually is the driver for schools moving)? I’m all in on JoeMo but he’s done nothing yet, and all the pundits say this won’t be the year either. I just don’t think we bring much to the table for another conference to want. Terrible football history, horrid attendance, average facilities, and not the sexiest place in the world to travel too. Please explain!

What is the parents club?

It’s really unacceptable to not have the roster and bios updated. It really doesn’t take that much effort and once it’s on there its good for a year. If you half ass things like that it makes you look like a half assed program. You have to promote your own program, but the lack of media attention is alarming. Is it the chicken or the egg?

Athletic department just launched a new app for athletics

This was tweeted last fall by the AD. Unless something has changed, I would think we’d see these beauties out there sometime this fall

Excited to see this non traditional added to the mix this year. Not sure what jersey/pants combo would look best with this but plenty of options would look great - all navy, all white or white jersey/navy pants would look best

You only dip into the juco market if you have to. In general they are much riskier than transfers or high school kids. Seems like we have way more than most this year but it is what it is. For a program that is stuck in a ditch you need to take some risks, I get it. Just hope they are good on, and off, the field.

I think they’ve got a whole boatload of guys that they need to worry about. Most juco guys are juco for a reason…

Couple things…amazing that Miami has that many commits this early in the recruiting cycle. Doesn’t necessarily mean that it will still be the top class in the MAC but they are off and running. Second thing - is Rivals ever going to update the Akron logo?? Wtf…it’s been a year now
