I won't be offended if UA buys every property they can get their hands on downtown and begins a "Landscape for Downtown" overhaul project. Any downtown businesses can find a nice spot in the burbs to relocate to, and downtown can become a vibrant entertainment district with student housing along with academic facilities and some hotel rooms. Close High or Broad for redevelopment and make the other a 2-way. And whenever the research medical center is built, move the nursing program there to free up the space "on campus".

tosu is making their soccer games (along w/ a couple other sports like gymnastics) free admission for all, to try to build up support/attendance. I posted on Buckeye Planet that on the other hand, tosu did help us to set a paid soccer attendance record, with a link to the GoZips article on the game...and promptly got banned. Of course, I also had posted the AP top 10 previously and received an infraction for "inciting a reaction". There are plenty of good Buckeye fans but the moderators of that board are pretty childish to not even allow a discussion of in-state competition from Cinci, or the Akron soccer game.I really don't know what you expected. If an OSU fan came on here and posted all of the past OSU vs. Akron football scores, would we also not ban them instantly? Talk about trolling...My expectations for them were low and I wasn't surprised. If I wanted to troll I could have posted the all-time UA/tosu soccer record and taunted them about it. I just linked to the article showing the attendance record they were part of, but since it also showed they lost the game...banned with the reason given as "a..hole". This board is a lot more tolerant than that, as we saw recently with jupitertoo.

We're 16.5 point underdogs. Still, I wouldn't take the Chipps and give that many points...I guess I still have a little bias left. Boy do we need the DL to get some pressure on LeFevre.

BG and Buffalo lost at Marshall & UCF, respectively. Miami ended their scoreless streak with 26 points in the 2nd half at WMU. The MAC East is still wide open. Rodgers will get better as the starter. I'm concerned about the defense again...we didn't stop the run or the pass yesterday. 5 or 6 wins looks likely. JD will get some credit for doing the right thing suspending CJ even though it cost us this game. A lot will depend on the recruiting class now that the Info is open. We absolutely have to start noticeably out-recruiting the other MAC teams with the stadium investment. It will be interesting to see the candidate pool when the time does come for a new coach without the off-campus Rubber Bowl turnoff factor.
