Frye is an ok QB. He has a good work ethic, but he has limited arm strength, and I truly believe he doesn't have a high "football" IQ. He doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes, and throws too many int's.I think with a better o-line and more experience he will be a solid QB, but nothing more than that.

The bandwagon has gotten much less crowded.

Hopefully with Alex Allen back next year, and Reed having a year in the system we will have a better running game. Getting rid of Crouch alone will make the offense better.

He needs to add a few pounds to his frame.I too would prefer the 3-4 over the 3-3-5.

The 3-3-5 would work if we had the talent.Hight probably won't qualify. Pendleton is a walk on. Stoudamire may or may not qualify, and even if he does it will be his first year.To have a good d-line, you need talent with size and speed. Even if we went to a 4-3, our DT aren't good enough to put any pressure up front. We haven't had a dominate DT since Wayne Grant.Just because a guy is big doesn't mean he can play.We have much more talent at LB than we do at d-line. The talent needs to be on the field.

I simply can't imagine Luke Getsy playing on Sundays... He barely plays on Saturdays.

The Acme-Zip games always had in the mid to upper 30's or even into the 40's.

Hopefully Akron will offer him. I am sure we have a better accounting program than Duke. Therefor, we are a much better school.

That is because he takes less pay to divide it up with his assistants.His assistants make quite a bit of money.Also, with his radio show and different commercials he does, he is doing quite well.

The cynic in me would respond "no." HS players typically need to graduate before becoming eligible for a college program. Of course in the end that is true. However, we assume they will graduate. So the question is do they have the proper GPA, and SAT/ACT scores yet?Many schools will not offer until the recruit has received a qualified score and is on track GPA wise.

Sorry, but the cynic in me has to know, are any of them qualified yet?

Yo Carmine Ragusa. He was a fine dancer. I remember one time when he and the Fonz had a fight with some gang losers. LOL

Is he getting offers, or getting information from the schools?There is a big difference. Sorry, but for the big schools, 6'4" 280lbs is nothing special. Sure it is great for a sophomore, but he has to prove it on the field. There is much more than size in football.He may be a future NFL player. But just from the information given, he doesn't seem like anything special.

This doesn't mean he won't be leaving. Coaches always have an out clause in the contract. These contracts always protect the coaches from not getting paid if fired, but they don't protect the school at all.I doubt he will be leaving after this season, but I also doubt he will be here 5 more years.

A blowout would be nice. I would like to see some of the younger guys get some playing time. However, this team seems to do the opposite of what we think they will do.

That sounds like us last year.

I see the rest of you are noticing what I have been saying for over a year now. The real grade of a recruting class isn't on signing day. It is usually a couple years down the road. Or, in our case, the first game of the followong season.On signing day these guys make our classes look good. However, in reality, they are average at best.
