So Boyett went from being a projected starter to not even in the 2 deep. Great to see Tommy Brown in there. I hope it is official. Does any know of D. Moore is on the team?

If there are all back by week 1 as the article states, that should be good because the Howard game should just be a scrimmage and then have a full week to prepare for Pedo State.

Other boards that I frequent have all kinds of non stop inside info. You know everything going on. Here, there is nothing. Even gozips really updates anything.

It is amazing to me that we have absolutely nobody on this board that has any association with the program. I would love to hear what's going on in practice and how players are looking. There is nothing on GOZIPS.com. They can't even show the complete roster with weights/height. Does Akron even have an SID? It's nice to see how guys progressed over the winter and spring, but nothing.

If he has the speed to go along with his size he will be a great safety. Can he cover anyone is the real question. I have a feeling he will eventually grow into a LB again though.

I don't think OSU can say anything either way. If he can prove he head a hardship for the reason of transferring, he will probably get it. It may be too late though.

If you really want to look at rankings you need to look at the composite not just 1 site. Rankings are based on stars and numbers. Example a 25 man class of all 3* would be ranked higher than a 15 man class of all 4-5*. I would take the 15 man class every day of the week. Quantity means nothing if they are less talented. Coaches don't look at star rankings. They look at who fits their system best. When you are Alabama or Auburn you buy, I mean recruit, the best talent that fits your system. The guys Bama gets are always highly rated and often get bumped after they commit to Bama.

At least it wasn't the ABJ making the mistake. Not that I doubt they would.

DIG, that's exactly what I'm thinking and hoping. If Akron has a wining season I can see a strong finish to the class. Winning helps get better recruits and better recruits help you win more. It's a big circle.

Perhaps we are going after bigger fish and they aren't going to commit early to Akron
