I think Meyer is pretty arrogant, but what makes it pompous? I am surprised Zip fans are LBJ fans. He is the epitome of the locals not being Zip fans. He is a big OSU fan. He has led the team out of the tunnel and gave a speech at halftime of a game. He appears at many OSU games and even has a locker with his name on it. He has public ally stated if he went to college it would be OSU. I think Bowden and Akron need to reach out more to him.

Pretty good offer list. Always good to get talent. I wish it was on the OL or DL though. Hopefully more to come

We need Guathney to come back. We have little depth in underclassmen.

This team has some talent. I am a bit worried about the OL still. If they can get a 5th year senior that is capable of starting that would be huge. I'd like to see a WR step up also.

Dave, Marcus came in as an OLB. He was slow to pick up the scheme. He was switched to DE and flourished. He is a very good pass rusher but was a bit lacking against the run. Being a true sophomore and playing DE for the first time probably explains some of his difficulties. Although he was a backup to a future NFL player, he did play a lot. They rotate their DL quite a bit. He was expected to start the first 2 games while Spence is suspended. He was expected to play a lot and then start in 2015. Unfortunately he has some anger issues he needs to work on. Sitting out a year while practicing will allow him to work on his weaknesses. I expect big things from him in 2015-16. If he can get his personal issues straightened out he will be an All MAC player.

I would agree if he was a 5th year senior transfer. But a true soph in the 2 deep isn't bad.

He was not riding the bench. He actually started in the Bowl game. He was in the 2 deep all season. He was backing up Spence who will be an All American. This is a big loss for OSU. He was expected to play a lot. Kid looked great when he played. He has some domestic issues he needs to resolve.

Maybe Tracy Sprinkle will be next.

Kid is a stud. Got kicked off team for breaking team rules. He will be abusing MAC OT's for 2 years. He didn't redshirt yet so this season will be a RS type year with a chance for him to practice and get even better. Huge Pickup for the Zips.

He was highly rated coming out of high school. He was a heck of a HS talent. He has a year of experience at AU and if he sits out a year and is able to practice he will get even better. He may be a nice replacement QB in a couple of years.

PSU is ripe for beating. They are high and doing a great job recruiting with the new coach, but the talent level is low right now.

I think it's closer to 93.4%, but it's not worth arguing over.

True PSU is feeling the pain of the bowl ban. However, Franklin has brought a renewed sense of energy and optimism to that program. They are knocking it out of the ball park in recruiting right now. Sure, that that doesn't matter for this next season, but the confidence is returning in Happy Valley and their stud QB has a year under his belt now too.

This would be huge. DE isn't as big of a need as OT or DT, but a stud is a stud. Add him and go get an OT and a DT and we are ready to rock and roll in September.

She sounds a bit full of herself. She doesn't realize that her husband inherited a much better team than he left.

We will need the OL to improve drastically or it won't matter how improved KP is. We need to get a couple 5th year transfers that can start.

Hopefully we can find a transfer o lineman or 2 to come in also.

QFT. We always need to add playmakers at every position, but DT is a critical need in this next class. 2 for sure, preferably 3 pure DT's.

Not a fan of this hire. He is a football coach. He will probably want to coach football. This is probably just an interim basis.

Gualtney didn't make the grades last season just like Lane and the other LB from Kenmore. They can't practice with the team until the fall.

Strange start to the tourney A lot of upsets. I think that is a good thing. It is nice to see new blood. Too bad UA can't be some of it.
