  1. Woody wearing the blinders on that one...... You guys ever watch ESPN gametracker where they give a constantly updated percentage chance which team will win?
  2. Gut check time now.
  3. It could be those facts are related haha. Come on Defense!!!!!
  4. No. Our DB's maybe need special glasses that highlight where the first down marker is.
  5. Agree. It seems way too basic. Esp given our veteran QB. Anyhow, Buffalo's offense is gaining ground....but then they slip on the running play! FOURTH DOWN.
  6. Woody is throwing balls too low. Feeling the rush. Offense has to get the QB some throwing room....somehow. Play action pass isn't going to work when you can't run.
  7. Big first down by the Bulls.
  8. Nice to see the D get more aggressive after Buffalo got that 3rd down conversion. Forcing that horrible 17 yard punt lol. I'm not so certain Akron should run the ball. If the passing game works, it works.
  9. INT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Holy cow I totally forgot iCoach was on the Buffalo staff. Even a glimpse of that guy is too much.
  11. Ugly. I would have punted on third down after that mess.
  12. That's textbook targeting....like it or not.
  13. It would be easier to like EMU if they were still the HURONS. I can get why Miami changed, but at least Redhawks is a unique name. Eagles? How generic!!
  14. Interesting theory
  15. When Bowden got here in 2012 the offense was really clicking. It just seemed like once the defense came around - even a little - we would be winning games 40-35. What the heck's happened since then? Was Dalton Williams simply that good??
  16. Agree the amount of tailgate space is great, but with only one way in or out, it's a total catastrophe. Plus everyone has to pay 15.00 parking. A better located stadium would have several options for travel. Right now it's car-or-nothing. If Crew stadium were downtown the games wouldn't be during business hours, so traffic wouldn't be an issue.
  17. The owner somehow thinks Austin is a great pro sports market. I'd hate to see the Crew move. It sucks to have team owners constantly begging for public money, but I have no doubts that getting a new stadium would increase attendance for Columbus. Right now it's just such a pain getting in and out of the Fairgrounds. Plus there's nothing around there.
  18. Who is treating him badly? You?
  19. Well when I was there there the airport was empty. Same with the Derby. And there was no signs of life anywhere. Except for Hoppin Frog, which was where my friends and I were attending a party - after a funeral. My perceptions have changed quite a bit since I left Akron 20 years ago, but for me, it was not a good experience being there. I had the opportunity to work all over the most forgotten parts of Appalachia for my job, and many parts of Akron have that same feel of desperation, and hopelessness in the air. I wish Akron the best, but it's not my place anymore.
  20. It would have to exist in some kind of vortex, or else they would have to tear down most of the campus to fit it in. Was actually in Akron and stopped by the Bowl last weekend. The entire area of town just seems like it's been lost to a time in the distant past when Akron was in its heyday.
  21. Eh, those aren't the real Trojans. They're more like a cheap knockoff brand haha. Anyhow, maybe that "Brain Trust" that took over the Rubber Bowl can buy naming rights when InfoCision runs out....stay tuned for THE RUBBER BOWL II.
  22. Also old: the very remote yet fun possibility of hosting USC.
