FirstEnergy Stadium underwent a $120 million renovation last year. At least Quicken Loans Arena is used all the time. FirstEnergy is positively vacant.

Just as an aside, the flight to Houston is around 3 hours. I'm not sure it's possible to get from Akron to Cincy any faster than that.

I grew up in NY Giants territory. I'll tell you first hand that Giants fans absolutely loved Hixon and Blackburn. Chase was elected captain by his teammates. Both guys were renown for their total effort and their commitment to the game. Both guys made stellar plays that absolutely played a big part in winning a championship. These Giant fans know by heart that Chase Blackburn and Domenik Hixon WERE AKRON ZIPS. It frankly pisses me off to read a post on an Akron forum that seems to, from my perspective, belittle their pro careers. Sometimes this forum makes me think we have the worst "fanbase" in sports.

I don't know, Bosa in two games looks like a real difference maker. The SD media has been remarking that his skill level is head and shoulders above their D-line veterans! Now Jatavis...what can I say? The guy is making a lot of teams look really really stupid for overlooking him in the draft. He's got such heart and a nose for the ball. He's always in on the action. So fun to watch, like Jason Taylor 2.0. As a long suffering Charger fan I'm really happy to have both of the "Killer B's" :-)
