Don't want to slander a kid on here, but from what I've heard, he's going to need to step up his leadership, character, and work ethic and gain some respect from his teammates or he's not going to last long as the starting QB for the Zips. Guys like that with a ton of talent usually come into programs with all kinds of hype (like he has), get the fans all excited (like many are), and then bust and are replaced mid way through the season with a less talented but more reliable guy. I hope this is not the case for Carlton and the Zips, and I hope he learns to get in his playbook, get in the film room, lead by example, and stay away from bad influences. The QB has got to be a guy that players can look to for leadership, and we've been extremely fortunate to have that with our last 3 QB's.Of course, let's not take away anything from the other two guys who will be vying for the job in the spring. Carlton Jackson has in no way won the job yet anyhow.
