It's fun to bash them but the additions they made look pretty good. Nice video screen although it could be larger.Their "visitor" side stands certainly look like your average high school stadium stands. I use visitor losely because for some reason they sit all of their fans there and that is the home team sideline, strange. The videoboard was underwhelming and they removed a large chunk of seats to put that up if I remember correctly. It was very small, and they had a hard time keeping up with replays (when a play is under review, most of the fans in the stadium would like to see the replay too, not just a big red sign saying that the play is under review).Isn't there another school in NE Ohio that forces their GA fans and students to sit on the "Visitors" side so their stadium doesn't look empty on TV???

Yea, on TV you could actually hear the Akron fans way more than the Can't fans. Pretty pathetic attendance though. Wish I could have gone but there was just no way.

I'll tell you what, as skeptical as I was prior to the season, we have the talent. Right now, I'm convinced we could very easily be 5-1. If we can take care of buisness, I think we've got a shot if we see BSU in Detroit. On the other hand, we could also very easily could have been 1-5 right now, so I'll take 3-3. Lets just hope everyone gets healthy!!!

They were looking for any reason it could be called incomplete. I mean, this is MAC officiating and we're Akron so I think it says somewhere in the rule book to screw us any chance they get. It was so obvious that it was a chatch that if they didn't overturn it, they realized they would never officiate again, so they had to call it a catch.

Personally, I love the current jersey. The helmet could be tweaked, but I think it should stay gold. On another note, I thought I saw Wagon Wheel stickers on the back of the helmets today! That is an AWESOME idea if that was the case. Do the players get any other type of "Reward" for beating Can't??? Another thing slightly off topic. I know the "Whiteout" thing was started by Penn State and everyone is copying, but I thought it would be cool to try a "Gold Rush". And I'm not talking about Gold colored T-Shirts. I mean get some shirts made that look like gold. That would be cool.

Definately a catch. He had it behind the defenders head, pulled it over his helmet, put it to his chest, and then while falling to the gound, had it in his right arm. When his arm hit the ground out of the back of the endzone, the ball popped loose.

EXACTLY! It seems like everyone is in slow motion after the snap. Last week he snapped it over CJ11 head. Our receivers tipping passes has been a problem all year. Against Ball state, that was the case too. CJ11 is pretty good once he gets in a rhythm, but if he gets out of it, man he's scarry to watch.

Agreed. We didn't deserve to win this game, but stole it from them for the 2nd year. What a great way to put salt in the wound of your rival. This feels especially sweet after those 3 losses to them in BB.

I was stuck at home for this game, but luckily WEWS Channel 5 televised the entire game this year!! I've already sent them an e-mail thank you!

What a shame. Hopefully this turns into one of those "He will never play again" comeback stories.

I think that comment goes up on the Bulletin board as soon as the season is over. Then, next year when we take it out on them again, someone needs to pull out a banner!!

Well, see, I made a HUGE mistake earlier this year. I moved from Michigan back to Ohio and in June, I really didn't think about setting aside my tailgating stuff. Needless to say, everything, I mean EVERYTHING, was packed up and now sits in some GIGANTIC Storage warehouse in Canton, Michigan with all the others who are fleeing that state. So, we'll likely be picking up some Cardinal Wings from BW3 and just pounding some beers before the game. I won't be back in action until 1/2 way through the season!!!

Ok, I admit it, I lurk at the Can't State site once or twice a week. I went there today to see how they are justifying their loss to ISU and there is not even a peep about their loss. There are 6 comments about how the ISU players didn't give any BB material, but most of those are before the game. I have to say that their fan base has GOT to be the most fair weather group in the country. They will turn out if they are doing good (rarely), but when the suck (usually), they are nowhere to be found! PATHETIC!! Hell, we were picked last in the East this year and look at everyone around here!Though it would have been fun, I didn't gloat on their site because, well, I try to only do that after they lose to us. I know quite a few Can't State fans lurk over here, and instead of having my post deleted over there, I figure it would be good to have it eating at them over here.

I'm not making any pre game predictions this year, I'm just going to show up and watch the games. Should be a good time.

I'm very glad for the win, but I'm frustrated with how the media is handling this. The Syracuse media is treating this as if SU just got beat by the Summit County Vocational School JV Practice squad, and the Akron/Cleveland media is treating this like we beat the Summit County Vocational School JV Practice Squad. WTF!?!? It would be nice to get a little credit. Thank god for Razor's blog or he ABJ wouldn't have anything other than what it grabbed off the wire.

I always appreciate the post game summaries from those who attended. Nice job. I was relegated to listening to the game on the Internet from a Syracuse Radio Station. Here's what gets me. We beat a BCS team and it's like we played EMU yesterday. WTF!! Didn't anyone in the area send a reporter to the game yesterday? I'm very, very concerned about our Defense from what I saw yesterday and knowing the offensive powerhouses that are in the MAC this year, we're going to have issues.

I sure hope that the last two performances are an indication of what we can expect in the future. CJ11 should have a TON of confidence right now. He looked great IMO!
