Zip Watcher

I've been to pretty much every MAC tournament game since it moved to the Q in 2000. It's a great time .. and a corporate holiday. That aspect of my reservations doesn't really relate to how many games the Zips are in .. I'm there regardless. For the price, you can't beat it if you're a hoops fan. Go Zips!

Article also says that Kyle Peterson is going to get significant playing time. No offense to Kyle, but I very much doubt he see's anything more than mop up time. Of course, with as good as we are supposed to be this year that could mean him getting 10+ minutes a game (just stirring the pot here). Really?

This isn't going to matter to the Zips.

As a fan of the tournament who declares the quarterfinals day a company holiday ... I don't like this format. 3 evening sessions is a crap load of babysitting to come up with. Also, the Zips would have had to win 5 games instead of 4 last year? Gut reaction here .. I don't like it. I do reserve to change my opinion with further thought.

Cedric was an absolute program changer for the Zips, in his approach, intensity and work ethic.

I thought Ennis re-opened his recruiting after Rico signed on, and also following the departure of Humpty, Sullivan & Steward.

Here you run into trouble. You're here admonishing energized fans about their opinions, and you want to base the cold shower on facts to back up your reservations. I think it's good to be cautious here. You live in NEOH and are a Vikings fan. I get it. We all have big hopes, and some of us are more eager than others to dream big for our guys. Problem here is that your "facts" are categorically and completely inaccurate. The Zips have received AP votes, on multiple occasions under KD. It's not some magic land they've never visited. Is the AP poll a real poll? Two NCAA births in 3 seasons are real, tangible evidence of success. They weren't accidents. I look forward to more. I've got them on. B) Go Zips!!

Made the mistake of booking the summer rental early this year. So I'm dismayed to not go to Montreal. I'm aware of at least 2 fans making the trip. I'm sure we'll all get some good scoop. Go Zips!

I don't personally know anyone who views our athletic success in a positive light during his tenture.My recollection is that Bobinski's mis-step wasn't the hiring of Owens & Hipsher (both did some heavy lifting in their time here) .. it was the knee jerk 5 year extensions offered at the urging of Terry Pluto.
