  1. Ha Ha! Me too! I fixed the typo!
  2. I believe the coaching staff has no plans to red-shirt McAdams or Kretzer. By the looks of things in the practices I attended, Justice has moved ahead of Deji on the depth chart because of his ability to knock down the three ball. I saw Egner play more at the 3 than at the 4 position. He has a nice 15 foot jumper and with Q gone, we have a bigger need at the 3 now. I can see some scenarios where Abreu and Melo might see the court together.
  3. I found this article today. Chase’s on when it counts for Giants defense
  4. Did you listen to the post game interview? He said that once BG realized just how thin we were at D-line and linebacker they knew just what to do. We were playing guys that weighed less than 200lbs at D-end and 185lb line backers. Our secondary is all beat up from having to make so many tackles. The game was lost when we didn't capitalize on the scoring opportunities in the first half. The dropped TD pass and the fumble at the 1 yard line. Our only hope was to keep enough pressure on BG that they felt they had to pass to keep up with us. If we had scored 24 in the first half it would have been a different game plan from BG in the second half. Once they got the lead, they played a lot of cover 2 and were able to get good pressure on DW with just rushing 4 guys.
  5. Its obvious that we are paper thin on the D-line. Do we have any O-linemen that we can plug into the defense? Coach Bowden has said that the O-line is probably our most experienced unit with the most depth. Dylan Brumbaugh was a very good defensive end in high school. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
  6. No. Some of us were just respecting the process that was on going at the time of his post.
  7. He's a big guy who takes long strides. They threw it to him 4 times. He caught 2 and had 2 incompletion's. One was the play he was pushed out of bounds and the last one DW had to throw sooner than he wanted because of pressure in the pocket.
  8. I thought I heard him say it was a process!
  9. Looks like a bunch of sharks circling a potential pay day to me.
  10. Dysert had all day to stand in the pocket and pick out a receiver. Our D-line did a good job on the running plays, but put almost zero pressure on the QB. Even a crappy QB can pick apart a defense if he has all day to make the throw. If you're going to play against the spread you have to put pressure on the QB. It's only 5 against 4.
  11. I wonder why Rossi didn't play much? Is he fast enough to be the only linebacker in the Dime defense?
  12. There needs to be an exception for incidental contact. If the refs are going to call a penalty every time two players have helmet to helmet contact, the games are going to suck. If not, what would prevent a ball carrier from lowering his head and looking for contact on every play.
  13. Coach Bowden should be beating the bushes for some JC D-lineman as his #1 priority this off season.
  14. I have no arguments about how confused our defense looked when Miami lined up with 5 receiver sets. With only one linebacker on the field, we had no answer for Dysert when he waited until his receivers took all our d-backs deep and then took off running.
  15. Go over to the Miami boards, even they think we got screwed by the refs.
  16. The sooner we get the F... out of the MAC, the better.
  17. I'm sure things will work themselves out before the start of the 2013/14 season. Most likely someone will decide to leave after realizing they weren't going to get any PT.
  18. That sounds like the Joe I know!
  19. I never said anything about the internets!
  20. This Jim Rome mentality of everybody having to have a "Take" on every subject is annoying as hell. Who cares what some talking head on the radio has to say? Whats wrong with just interviewing people who actually are involved in the subject at hand. Screw Rome and his droids.
  21. I hope we are looking at Ron Brant from Green HS. His dad, Ron Brant Sr, was one heck of a player for the Zips as a saftey from 1981-84. The son is also a hard hitting saftey and slot receiver. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/513200/#highlights/7776392
  22. My daughter lives in the same dorm as the football team at Toledo. She says all the players are sporting that long hair look there too. She thinks they look ridiculous.
  23. I talked to KD about this last week. The coaching staff made a commitment to Coaches VS Cancer to raise a few thousand $ and they hope to get there with the sale of these bands. Any help from the fans is appreciated. I'm going to buy a couple.
