Nance Jr. could pay his own way next season while he sat out. That's what Walsh did. I'm sure Nance Jr.s' father could afford it. We only have one available scholarship for the 2014-2015 season.
When I got home and watched the replay, it looked like he banged his knee on one of the OU guys knee after that jumper he made. Typical for Tree, he was going for the rebound in case his shot didn't fall. I would suspect nothing more than a bruise.
I thought he said he switched to the 1-3-1 to stop the dribble penetration that was leading to easy baskets for the Bulls. Then he said they run a hybrid version of that defense that is effective against the 3-pointer. I've always wondered why we don't use more Zone with Zeke patrolling the middle.
If an Akron fan tried to post the same type of troll messages OU fans post on ZN.o on bobkittyattack, they mods would delete them the minute they saw them.
Bettencourt played a good game tonite. He really provided a spark off the bench and did a good job on #10. The switch to the 1-3-1 was the difference in the game.
Kretzer will continue to get playing time because he does all the dirty work like defense and rebounding. Just because he is struggling with his shot, does not diminish what he brings to the floor.
I agree completely. I think KD feels the same way, but Chauncey's injury was keeping him from performing up to his potential. It was nice seeing him make a difference at crunch time.
The Rowdies were great at the game today. They put the Can't student section to shame. A great defensive performance by Zeke and Tree an the second half was the difference. Forsythe didn't play a single minute in the second half. One of these days this team is going to have a game where we can't miss from three. I pity the team we play that night.
We just arrived at the arena. Just after we sat down, Quincy Diggs sat right next to us. We asked about coming back next season. He said he would like to return, but wasn't sure yet if he would.
