It's all about the turn overs with this team. The unforced ones in particular. It seems that every game a different player decides to play loosey-goosey with the ball. Q has progressed nicely since the beginning of the season. We can beat anybody if we take care of the ball.

Lived in the Akron area most of my life. Attended "Hilltop High" in the late 70's, never got a degree. Season ticket holder for football since 1970, basketball 1975.

Someone on their fan message board thinks one the advantages they have over us is their deep bench. Its one thing to play 8 or 9 guys, versus having 8 or 9 guys who could start on every team in the MAC like we have. If we don't beat ourselves by being careless with the ball, we win easily.

I must have missed Phils passing with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays. For those of you who never met Phil, you missed out on knowing a great guy and one of the best Zips fans ever. There was no event that the athletic department ever held that Phil didn't attend or support. Us older guys remember Phil as the voice of the National Weather Service broadcasts from the Akron/Canton regional Airport. Phil, you will be missed. Frank Phillip Martin

Unless ZN.o decides to run some advertising spots on the program, I would say the odds of ZN.o being mentioned are zero. The show is about Zips basketball, not ZN.o.

When Dambrot starts doing a show that is on the air 5 days a week and 52 weeks a year, you might have a point. Since we're only talking 15 shows, I'm sure KD won't need any vacation time from the demanding schedule.

Joe Dunn is not the producer of the show, just the talking head. It might make sense to have one of the assistants on as a guest, but the last time I looked the show is still called "Zips basketball with Keith Dambrot".

I doubt you're going to see the "fan thing" dropped. When I talked to Joe last week he told me the show is targeted to Joe fan, not the diehards. Even though us diehards here on ZN.O would love the program to be more technical, the average viewer could care less whether we run a zone or man to man. Too many X & O's and people just change the channel. He said he would take the suggestions from the members here into consideration, but with the limited budget they are working with, it would be difficult to get to provide much in the way of video breakdowns of strategy. I did like how he asked Zeke about what his thought process is when he gets the ball on the block.

This whole firing is a mess. Since the "community activist" got elected to the school board I would expect more questionable decisions.
