I think they still have one more season at Anderson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stroh_Center

You driving? Pick me up at I-71 and the Turnpike.

It was on TV. I remember watching. I doubt there are any copies out there. The VCR had just been introduced the year before, most people did not have one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betamax

Sounds like he should fit in here with no problems.

Maybe it's just early, but I'm not sure I understand this. What you're really saying is that if the Zips just won every game, the selection committee would have a hard time passing them up?From what I've read, anything less than perfection is not acceptable to certain ZN members!

Bring back Greg Rockich, he was like a good luck charm for Huggins.

+1I would hope that now there is no pressure to have to win in order to get a bye, we should be loose as goose. Just go out and have fun. Its a lot more fun to win than to lose.

I think Ronnie would see more PT if his defense improved. He was late getting back several times last night if I remember correctly, with one resulting in Zekes 4th foul. I really like what he brings to the offensive end. His ability to penetrate is a real pluse.

I think students like soccer better because its much easier to smuggle booze into a soccer game than into the JAR!

I found this while waiting for the game tonite.http://www.jjhuddle.com/blog/post-detail.php?p=4187

What about Green? Where does he fit in? I don't know that I would call J. Conyers an outside shooter, more of a slasher and offensive rebounder.

Who says white men can't jump? When Jackson came out on the floor for warmups, there were two big guys. One guy was a clean cut and uninspiring physical specimen, the other was sporting a Mohawk and was bouncing all over the place. After the game started, one was soaring above the rim and playing very physical around the rim. The other powered the ball up against a bunch of short white guys. How about a couple of Lebron like rejections from behind, where the shooter looked around and thought where in the heck did that guy come from? Want to guess which one was the Zips recruit? The guy with the mohawk and the attitude. The best athlete on the floor this evening was Josh Egner by far. This guy has got serious hops. He threw down a breakaway dunk that had the whole backboard standard shaking for a few seconds. The Jackson fans seated near us said he seemed a little subdued and we should have seem him last weekend against Hoover! He did not show much of an outside shot tonight, but I don't think that will be a big part of game with the Zips. To my eye, Egner has way more upside than Henniger. Mark Henniger may be getting all the press on Jacksons team this season, but I wasn't that impressed. The whole Jackson offense is designed to get the ball down low to the center, which was played by Henniger most of the game. Quite a few Zips fans have been complaining about the lack of passion displayed by this years team, Egner oozes passion. I look forward to seeing him in blue and gold for four years.

He plays for Scott Co. highschool. Here is an article about the Kentucky State tournament. Euton is mentioned.http://www.kentucky.com/2010/02/20/1149982...tournament.html

Thanks for the help Doc. I will give a report after the game. I don't think Green will give Jackson much of a game, but I'm sure it will be entertaining.

I wasn't in attendance at Zips Live, but I did get to ask Steve French a few questions during his live TV show on channel 23. 1.(Q) How can the Zips have 3 incoming freshmen when we only have 2 seniors on this years team? (A) One of the existing scholarship players is going to graduate early or transfer. When pressed as to who this might be, he said it wouldn't be Bardo(he has graduated) and that D Roberts will definitely be back for another season. So that leaves Sweich and Sullivan as the likely candidates to leave the team.2.(Q)When do you think the "Light will go on" for Zeke Marshall? (A)Right now its blinking. If not for Zeke, we probably don't win at BSU and CMU. Offensively he is still too timid but he is clearly altering the game at the defensive end of the floor.3.(Q) Why is KD so enamored with Steve McNeese? (A) 31 turnovers in 26 games as the primary ball handler. The Zips run over 50 different sets on offense and Steve does the best job of putting us in a position to win. All the dribbling at the half court area is a coaching decision.Steve spends more time with the team than anyone on this message board, so I take what he has to say is as near to the facts as possible.

All that happened with the head of MAC officials, Sam Liclighter. in attendance at the game.

Jackson High School plays at Green High on Tuesday the 23rd. I will be attending this game(my daughter is a Green cheerleader) and would love to see some of the ZN faithful help me cheer for Josh. I have to be real careful about not cheering for Jackson, but I can still cheer for Josh. I will buy tickets for the first 5 ZN members who send me a PM. The Game starts at 7:30.

Its my understanding that the clock is now controlled by on of the refs on the floor, not by someone on the scorers table.

I'm thinking he might need to add a few pounds before the NBA comes calling. I do admit though that he is the most impressive freshman I have seen this season.

It looks like the villagers are getting restless in Virginia. A couple of losses and now they are ready to fire the coach. They have some really high expectations down there. http://www.vcuramnation.com/forums/viewtop...?f=3&t=2617I look forward to hearing Districtballer's take on this one.

I'm sure I read that the team was not coming home after the BSU game, but straight on to Mt Pleasant. I wonder if they went to the Casino?
