Someone donated $500,000 to establish an endowed scholarship. There have also been many other commitments for yearly support. The plan is to recruit student athletes from the state of Ohio. No expensive out of state scholarships. Probably not a bunch of expensive spring road trips either.

Plan is to hire a head coach mid to late summer. Start assembling a team in the fall and spring g semesters. Around 75 people have submitted applications for the position.

Zipmeister is a Dayton area resident. I think the point he is making is that Williams is a very gifted athlete but not necessarily a gifted student. The idea that he would have to sit out and attend class for a year in order to play his last year at another institution seems strange.
