Out of the 3 guys sitting out this year because of transfer rules, Christian Jackson would make the biggest impact. He may only be 5'8" but he has a great game.

For D-1 you are allowed 5.

I pity anyone who is stuck with MCTV. Overpriced and poor selection.

Wichita State has already offered him but we haven't. I'm glad we can be that selective!
Players usually don't use one of their official visits unless they anticipate recieving an offer.

Overall Gameplay Observations
Player Observations
- Kostelac was disappointing. It looked like the game was too fast for him. I hope that changes, because we could use his size.
- Does anybody know if Gdadebo is going to see much playing time this year, or is he more of a walk-on type?
I'm really excited for this season. Go Zips!
CSU played a small lineup and Kostelac didn't match up well. He will get plenty of playing time.
Gdadebo is a walk-on. Doubtfull he will see much PT.

The Athletic department has a written code of conduct. If a player violates that code there are specific penalties laid out that are not negotiable. Most likely the coaching staff has little to no input on when Woodson returns.

I hope CSU brought their track shoes.

We put a coating of water on our field before every game. The Zips should be used to it by now.

I have an awesome collection of 45's.

What a terrible call.

I know people who were told they were not welcome on this forum for polluting threads with long winded diatribes day after day. I sure wish the moderators would nip this crap in the bud.

Glad to see the zips winning, but also hate to see them losing at the same time!
During practice it is always encouraging to see the Blue team winning.

Alas, I don't think it's possible to change my uninspired username here ...
All you need to do is send a PM to Dr Z and he can make it happen.

I fear playing in the Bahamas Bowl because I'll be in Miami that day. The logistics would be tempting, but more than epic.
I would have to catch a bus in Miami to the train station at 6 am, take the train to Fort Lauderdale, take a three hour boat "shuttle" to the Bahamas arrive near 11 am, find my way to the stadium, more than likely have to leave by 4:30 pm to catch the three hour boat back to Fort Lauderdale. Take the 40 minute train ride back to Miami, and take a bus back to my condo by, oh, I would guess 11:30 pm. ?
Just win the MAC please.
You could always just do this.

We only have 10 scholarship players who are eligible to play this year. I would expect a pretty fluid starting line up until Groce fogures out his rotations. The only sure starters are Ivey, Utomi and Duvivier.

The Zips will continue the tradition of the purple uniforms for the Coaches vs Cancer and Ball State games. Dan Peters son is an assistant at BSU.

What an ending. After the golden goal our players went over to the stands to celebrate and on their way over to the student section a mass of BGSU players rushed out and started a shoving match. After what transpired just minutes earlier several UA police officers went out to keep the peace. One of the BG players then got into a shoving match with one of the police officers. As I left the stadium the entire BG team was still in their dugout and the police were conferring in the middle of the field.

Duquesne Basketball Coach Keith Dambrot

You guys are totally wrong on the situation regarding Hughes and Dunn-Martin. They were the ones who wanted to leave and go with KD to Duquesne. There was no recruiting by him for them to leave Akron. The returning players were all free to make their own choices regarding their future. He did those guys a favor by letting them go with him. Both of them were guys that weren't highly recruited out of highschool. They both felt a sense of loyalty to KD and that it was in their best interest to go with him.
