  1. For getting beaten by a perceived "lower division" team, that's one of the most magnanimous post game pressers I've seen. Anderson seems like a good guy.
  2. I wonder if Brian Wickstrom is sitting in Louisiana watching the Zips football team on the verge of a bowl bid, men's soccer team with a top 4 NCAA seed, and the men's basketball team knocking off an SEC team, saying "I think I f'd up"?
  3. Awesome job Zips!!
  4. North Canton and Fairlawn are only 8-or-so minutes away, and have plenty of hotel options. Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls is nice, and 5 minutes away.
  5. Dwight Smith remains my #1 all time Zips defender.
  6. It will be interesting to see more Bowden addresses the offensive issues next season. But Woodson having a full year under his belt will help more than anything. Ditto Lane. The kid from Kentucky should also be a nice addition to the OL. Milwee has gone super conservative against good competition, and opened things up against the weaker opponents. Buffalo falls somewhere in the middle. I hope he lets the offense loose this week. Putting all your chips in on the defense to win the game against a decent opponent has only produced close losses so far.
  7. It is funny...a 10 point road win, our 4th road road win of the year...only 3 years removed from triple 1-11 seasons...is cause to get rid of the coaching staff and start over. For a vocal few. A vocal one is consistently amazed that we don't fill InfoCision after we string two wins together. Zips are having a nice season. I'm looking forward to Saturday. I'll be dressed warm, slightly drunk, and cheering for the Zips! F Buffalo!
  8. On the Keener Mediocrity Scale™, where do these teams fall? On the CK Pretty Good Index™, I would say they are pretty damn good cupcakes.
  9. My wife is big on the low-carb stuff. Brief research reveals a low-carb poutine recipe a going to be a challenge.
  10. Can the Zips offense figure out how to score 17+ points? If so, we will win.
  11. Best observation by the announcers - "Woodson is a much better QB when he's decisive." Scrap the read option. I think that alone would make our offense markedly more effective. We rarely make the correct read. Great job again by the D. Secondary and front 7. One down, 3 to go.
  12. I didn't think you were allowed to run a fake punt?
  13. Keep bringin' the pressure!!
  14. Weak calls on 2nd, and 3rd and 4. Thankfully Stein makes it.
  15. Zips throwing on 1st down?!
  16. Zips D getting lots of pressure!
  17. Needed that INT.
  18. The Russian Roulette offense finds consecutive bullets.
  19. Great halftime speech by someone. Team's fired up in the 2nd half.
  20. Lazy, sloppy, unimaginative offensive performance.
  21. Another turnover in our own territory. Not how you win on the road..or anywhere. Overall, Zips playing lethargic.
  22. Pass would have been complete to Davis, if Allen wasn't there. Not Woodson's fault. Big turnover.
  23. 3rd and long from their own endzone, and UMass throws. 1st down. Milwee waves the white flag on every 3rd and long. Run. Punt.
  24. You had a valid point where there were personal attacks against Bowden. But now, every post questioning a coach's decision seems to be seen by you as a "personal attack." You aren't being "bullied into shutting up." I'm asking that you respect others views, respect our site, and stop with the name calling. No one wants to read it, and it drives ZipsNation posters away.
  25. Please give it a rest. WTF good is a message board if the fans can't question a coaches decisions? And what coach is so perfect that his decisions are beyond discussion? None. Should everyone here have sat with their thumbs up their butt watching Rob Ianello burn the program to the ground? Hey, he was a D1 coach...he had to know more than everyone else? Fans want to see more Jerome Lane, and you have a problem with it? Appreciate that someone still actually cares, and is going to the games.
