One way to jump start the offense is to let Dre Williams and Jeremiah Knight return kickoffs instead of taking the fair catch. Driving the ball 75 yards is not something we've proven to be good at. Those guys are game breakers. And our offense needs as short a field as possible.

I can't see it happening because it would cost at least $250,000 to bring a team to Akron, and that isn't in the budget. Especially with our Nebraska $1,000,000 not being a sure thing. I've heard from multiple sources that Nebraska's payment was originally scheduled for March 2019. So until that time I don't there's going to be much meaningful discussion on the topic. If there's no payment by next March, then things get more concerning.

I was in the Frankfurt airport this morning going through Customs in my Akron hoodie when a guy in line turned to me and said "Go Zips! Nice win on Saturday." Later on I turned to a guy in a Purdue hat in the same line and said "Nice win over the Buckeyes on Saturday. He said "Thanks! You guys won in overtime, right?" Nice, globally-recognized win by the Zips on Saturday! Always fun to rock the UA gear in airports after a big win.
