Such a subjective and bull$hit interpretation. Of all the things I love about soccer, I absolutely hate how games change on such inconsistent interpretation and poor judgement. That together with the yellow versus red has likely cost us the match.

Just as notable, with Portland losing, the #8 seed is now out. Just #'s 4 Maryland, 7 Georgetown, 14 Akron, 15 NC State, and 16 Furman remain. Maryland must be feeling very confident. Hopefully overly so.

Actually, SLU leads the series history 7-5-1 and 2-0-0 in the NCAAT ('71 and '75). Time to claw another one of those losses back! All is quiet here. Everyone must be either at the game or watching on ESPN+. In any case, it is great to be up 1-0 at home in poor weather against a southern team that is likely focused on getting and staying warm.

#4 Maryland bounced our 2025 nemesis #13 UConn, 3-0. Good riddance.

We are 0-3-0 all-time against Duke, losing 1-0 every time. This weekend would be a great time to get off the schneider. The Daisy Dukes probably won't like playing in the cold. Advantage us. Let's hope a great crowd is another advantage.

Wish we could get a signature win against a marquee name brand school like Cincy! Good for the MAC as a whole though.

And historically small schools success with March Madness has depended on having more team chemistry from four years of developing the same players in the same system, despite their being smaller, less athletic, etc. That opportunity has been wiped away. Also, football revenues now directly fund NIL for basketball players. Hence why the last men's NCAAT was dominated by the "Big Ten" and SEC...that's where all the football money is so they simply buy the basketball players.

Then it's preferred! The cruelty is the point. FIFY.
