yes don't worry about the seeding issue. a similar situation happened with new mexico tow years ago were they also had an undefeated record for most of the season only to get an 8 seed......they followed it up with another solid season this year and were rewarded with a high seed and went to the final four....as long as the socer team plays well they should be rewared this year.GO ZIPS!

its official according to rivals he is a zip! he looks like a very good athlete but needs to put on about 10-15 lbs. before he can be a true force. with that said his defensive highlights looked just as good as his highlights at running back! this kid can play! lets keep it going and land jackson from brookhaven!go zips!

with his size he will be drafted as long as he runs in the 4.4-4.5 range.....if a less productive jake scafino can get drafted i am sure hixon can.....speaking of jake has anyone heard if he has any options for next year?go zips!

hey lets not forget about jackson....he was one of our prize recruits last year and i thought that he looked very good in the only practice we (fans) were aloud to attend last year....both have similar traits and i hope both turn into what we think they will...if that is the case we won't have to worry about the qb spot for 5 years!go zips!

it looks as if ohio has taken another wide reciever recruit from the zips. rivals is reporting that taylor price has decomitted from akron and will sign with ohio on feb 1 as this was confirmed by price's mother. i hope we are not left searching for wide reciever recruits at the deadline. go zips!

rivals.com was reporting that seth price liked his visit although he didn't comitt. in the articale it did say that 13 high schools athletes were at akron over the weekend. i hope we get a few good prospects. also it looks like we may loose price to ohio. go zips

i only say that we need a socer coach first because that is a more pressing need for their recruiting efforts. in my heart though i cant wait to hear the plans for a new stadium! i hope in includes a large parking lot to keep the tail gate experience. 35-40k will be too big at first but we can grow into it. you have to think big to become big time.one quick question for in the zone....why are you showing a Can't state fan on this site? please tell me its a joke.go zips!

look you are being a little critical of what i wrote.....some one had to alert them on akron's program all i want to know is if any one knows what coach or coaches had a hand in the process i think they are doing a great job!

i believe that he would have to go through the ncaa transfer policies if he indeed singed a (loi). though he wouldn't loose any years of eligibility. if he didn't sign then you are correct in saying that he would not be a transfer. if someone could please answer my initial question as to who is responsible for harboring all of the recent transfers to akron.

yes that sounds like good news.....pretty soon we'll have to rename our school to transfer university....not that its a bad thing....does anyone know who is the primary person for getting all of theese transfers such as robinson, berry, kennedy, etc. ?go zips!
