    Faith's sister Jamisyn will quite possibly wind up a better player and all-around athlete than her sister. Melissa was the first coach to offer her late in her soph year last February.

    I've been trying to think how this might effect Akron soccer recruiting. In terms of Big East geography we pretty much own Ohio. It could effect -- in a positive way -- our ability to recruit the territory of the West Division of the conference. But given that logic, maybe other BE schools look at recruiting our backyard. Time will tell.

    I would point out that my hombre, X-Cast had his poorest performance so far, hitting just 2 of 10 from the floor (2/8 outside the arc). However he made just 2 turnovers in 36 minutes and hit 10 free throws in 13 tries. He's this team's anchor. Thank heavens Groce got him outta Tampa.

    Thanks for finding and posting this TennZip. I had to look up the map for Roldan's billboard in Pico -- the Whittier area of E. L.A. Ends up it's under a mile from my aunt and uncle's house in Santa Fe Springs. Some great football and Mexican food in that hood!

    Sammy Hunter had back-to-back assists there as Akron retook the lead. What I like about Hinter is his court vision and his ability to read the play and defense. What I DON'T like about Sammy? Constant clanging of three-point shots he should never be taking. Anyone see that differently?

    Reputation carries weight with the committee. What was WMU's RPI? After their final two games they have to be furious to not get a seed and home match! And glad they won't be in Akron's league (literally that is) next season!

    Will be disappointed if we don't get one home game, like last year. Better be prepared for another Santa Clara-type team.
