  1. Fowler's back -- big time.
  2. Anyone else think this could be a preview of the MAC title game? Wow, Simmons and Fowler are amazing!
  3. Reggie likes this gym. We're still in it --incredibly.
  4. Why is Ivey such an attrocious free-throw shooter? Has he made one this year?
  5. They're a contender, take it to the bank!
  6. Not there for some reason.
  7. Watching the app, but can't find stats! Anyone??
  8. I found this article by the International Business Times to be quite well considered, and thorough. And it mentions the UA and it's facility. http://www.ibtimes.com/college-football-public-universities-spend-millions-stadiums-despite-slim-chance-2258669
  9. Speaking of bubbles, I highly encourage anyone who hasn't yet seen it to go watch The BigShort. Great filmmaking, from a SNL vet.
  10. So, it sounds like Richie is not a Toronto FC homegrown player. Thought he was...
  11. Isaiah Johnson (aka DaDog) played 31 minutes to 14 minutes for Patrick Forsythe. Contentious statement #1: If that pattern continues the remainder of the season, this team will be MAC Champions! And yes, I <3 Patrick, But DaDog gots teeth! Contentious statement #2: Kwan Cheatham proved once again why FS1 called him "The most NBA-ready body on the Akron team". Do any of Kwan's quackers on here know who is going to take up the slack for Reggie and Jake beyond the arc next year?? Kwo-Rect! Kwan can. Akron Zips. 2015-2016 MAC Champs?? Yes They Can!
  12. 40 minutes past start time, and gametracker still shows 0-0. Power outage? Women's game go late? What's happening??
  13. Top Drawer has their first Mock (Super)Draft out today, and Richie is #6. Has he decided he's leaving yet?? Don't think so... http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/2016-mls-mock-draft-v-10_aid38636?utm_source=TopDrawerSoccer+Newsletter&utm_campaign=e4d4ca0f63-General_12_31_1512_30_2015&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8340315a79-e4d4ca0f63-31214089
  14. I saw from someone's twitter that Aodhon was at the basketball game last night. Any sightings? Wow!
  15. Yes, our defense left a lot to be desired tonight. But DaDog made 14 of 16 free throws! And we know where we need to improve. Meanwhile Ohio is destroying the best team from the Big West (record wise) UC-Riverside, now 9-6. [Edit, UC-Irvine is 10-5 and of course my Rainbow Warriors are 10-2, don't tell my UH posse I forgot the team] OU Up 20. Setty is having one of his once-a-month career games.
  16. Sorry for the delay in responding to this -- I just saw your response, 87: In fact, I am NOT kidding one iotum! Are you telling me that the NCAA, and Sporting Kansas City (College Cup hosts?) conducting the final four in a Greater Kansas City Metroplex, with what must by demographic ratio be over a hundred thousand footballers, is dependent upon footie fans of the visiting teams to create an attendance that surpasses what the University of Akron gets for a regular season MAC home game? If Cary was ONLY able to sell tickets because of the presence of Duke University among the four teams, then it is symbolic and indicative of the NCAA's inability -- and essential refusal to MARKET the event to the local market and populace of NC and Kansas/Missouri and nearby regions. What was Sporting KC's average attendance this season? I'd be willing to bet it was well over 1000% of the attendance at the College Cup in their stadium, so you cannot make the argument that there are no football fans in that part of the country. I know from experience that the NCAA made no effort to market the 2010 College Cup in Santa Barbara, and with all the teams from far-out-of-state, there were still IIIRC about 6-7000 people on site. And that was because of the popularity of the sport in the nearby region, NOT because of marketing!
  17. Just saw, our sister school from Portage County is playing Penn State at the Orleans in 3 hrs. Who's going to support?
  18. I had my timing off and missed this one. What's wrong with Patrick?
  19. Did anyone else notice that #10 for UCSB, Maxwell Kupchak is the son of Mitch Kupchak.
  20. Having mobile guards is the best aspect of Big West men's basketball. Other than that, I think the MAC has it over that league in all other areas, though they have a few good centers -- like UC-Irvine's 7-5 BIG man!
  21. One thing I notice is that we get a day off between games, while the other two teams have to play back-to-back games. Good work Keith and the DO.
  22. You there, 'topper? Was the crowd over 200?
  23. Having mobile guards is the best aspect of Big West men's basketball. Other than that, I think the MAC has it over that league in all other areas, though they have a few good centers -- like UC-Irvine's 7-5 center!
  24. We're just reaching our potential, with our guard talent. Need consistency from the bigs -- and free throw shooting!
  25. No comment.
