    Just a point, the Rubberducks also had a game last night with Indians Jason Giambi doing rehab there... and there was at least one other local high school game that many may have been at (Firestone-Hoban). That's a lot of competition for a team that many Akronites think still are struggling.

    I'm OK with this tax. It's a quality of life expenditure that may not directly pay for itself just like the park system. There is a tax to support that as well. The new arena should bring in more entertainment opportunities for everyone in the area and will probably drive some downtown development and should help the existing establishments in the area.

    I don't mind it as much as when it is an away game. Guess someone has to get screwed to have a game. How much do we make off these games anyway?

    I've seen Tree at the line during pregame warm-ups draining shot after shot. I believe his avg is much better this year than last, so this has to be part of it. Can't say I've seen any other player putting in that much time a the line during the same pregame time, but perhaps they practice theirs some other time.

    I agree Wood was great... but now we have the whole Tree.

    In order to accommodate our fans on tight budgets, we are changing our logo to a red circle with a grey A in the center, and this is our new fight song.
