  1. This completely explains why the Bulls suck.
  2. Time to switch to the Indians.
  3. Terrell has enough time to eat a sandwich and Chapman is running for his life. Line of scrimmage is the difference.
  4. We look totally outclassed. WMU is a very good football team. They could beat us today as bad as Wisconsin did earlier in the season.
  5. This game against Western is definitely winnable. We are going to get our points. It's going to come down to rushing and how well our defense plays. If we can run the ball effectively, that will chew up clock and limit their time of possession.
  6. That was a great game that we probably lose if Leftwich doesn't get hurt. In the end we won and that is all that matters.
  7. 1. Zips have multiple weapons in the passing game. Passing attack will be the strength of this team all year long. 2. The Zips made a believer out of me last week. If only we had last year's D to go along with this years O. However, I believe that the D will improve as the season goes on. 3. D - Last year's strength, this year's weakness. Plus, the Mountaineers have a good ground attack. Watch out for the misdirection plays. They ran those well against Tennessee.
  8. One of my favorite Rubber Bowl games of all time along with the Marshall game where the Thundering Herd was carrying Byron Leftwich to the line of scrimmage. There was also the win against Northern Illinois maybe 10-15 years back. Some great memories at the RB. Time to create some memories at the Info. How about starting with the game this Saturday.
  9. 5-7. I am pretty much in agreement with Blue & Gold except I am opposite on App St and BSU.
  10. Any info on what Rivals and others are saying about these players? Number of stars for each?
  11. I know his former coach, Jim Kunau who recently took the same job (As well as Superintendent), at my kids school, Rancho Christian in Temecula. Kunau won a few state titles at Orange Lutheran. He built that program from nothing to a state power.
  12. I think they lost S Eric Weddle to the Ravens in free agency. Perfect landing spot!
  13. San Diego......Super Chargers!
  14. I do. He's a good player. I don't think he's as good as Brown. The problem with Jatavis is that in spite of his outstanding ability and speed, he's undersized for the NFL. I would draft him as a strong safety.
  15. Would also need to ncrease seating at Infocision to at least 45K
  16. I'm not advocating for a mid major tournament, but rather a new sanctioning body as an alternative to the NCAA. The NCAA is corrupt.
  17. And they should all be in the NCAA tourney ahead of some less deserving P5 schools. Akron should be in there too. It's a joke.
  18. We are better than them this year, but will likely lose the game only because of home court advantage. HC advantage means more in basketball than it does in any other sport. The selection committees know this. They purposely schedule the NIT so that the bigger school hosts. Their intent is to get rid off all of the smaller schools so that they can get better TV ratings and large crowds for the final four in Madison Square Garden. Its a rigged game. Non-BCS level FBS schools along with mid major basketball schools should just quit the NCAA altogether and start a new sanctioning body. We can have our own championships and tell the big boys to screw themselves.
  19. This thread is funny, but as a Browns fan, also sad. No way was Cleveland going to get Bortles, but they certainly could have had Bridgewater or Carr. We all know what they did. In typical Browns fashion, they went with the immature drunk. Too bad because If Manziel could get his life together, I think he could be a serviceable NFL quaterback.
  20. Love the Mr. Slate reference!
  21. As an Akron alum who lives an hour north of San Diego, I'm hoping for the Poinsetta Bowl. I have been to that stadium once this year to watch the Browns drop a heart breaker. Hopefully the second time is a charm?
  22. One of the classic quotes of all time. Post USC days when he was HC of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even the current Browns aren't as bad as that team was. A few years later he had them in the NFC title game, I believe against the Rams.
  23. Thanks for sharing. Strong upper body and very athletic for a big man.
  24. My thoughts exactly!
  25. Just saw this on the wire a few minutes ago. If he can stay healthy, then he fills a huge neeed for us. Michaelee Harris' time at the University of Louisville is over, but his college football career will last another year. Harris, a wide receiver who had an injury-plagued five years at U of L, will play at Akron next season as a graduate transfer after evidently being granted a sixth year to complete his eligibility. Akron team spokeswoman Cathy Bongiovi confirmed in an email that Harris is enrolled in summer classes and on the Zips' fall roster. A former four-star recruit from Miami's Northwestern High School, Harris played in 10 games, including five starts, last season, making nine catches for 113 yards and a touchdown. THE COURIER-JOURNAL Louisville football receiver Michaelee Harris’ momma ‘didn’t raise a quitter’ During his time in Louisville, he tore the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in both knees, and he missed the entire 2010 and 2012 seasons. His best season was 2011 – his redshirt freshman year – when he started 12 games and finished second on the team in receptions (37), receiving yards (455) and receiving touchdowns (two). He had 15 receptions for 195 yards and two TDs in 12 games in 2013 and earned a bachelor's degree that December. The Crunch Zone's Mark Blankenbaker first tweeted the news that Harris was headed to Akron.
