  1. Forgot about Dijon Mustard. I'll take him. That's fine. Anybody but Underthrower and DJ Soft Metal.
  2. Tahj, Wasel, or just save the University some money and forfeit the season. That's where I'm at with these QBs.
  3. If they don't think Tahj can throw, I'm ready to see Wasel.
  4. CMU needed a game winning FG to survive powerhouse New Hampshire.
  5. He does in-stadium announcing for the Browns games.
  6. DJI in there celebrating Golden-Nelson's pick 6 - credit to him!
  7. Are the refs from the Chiefs/Lions game doing our game?
  8. TOUCHDOWN AKRON!
  9. I don't like Undercuffler's physical traits, but my goodness is his decision making 1000% better than DJI.
  10. Top 10 soccer program carries us to basketball season.
  11. This simply isn't fun. The air could not be leaving the balloon faster with this offense/team.
  12. * Quietly repeats to self * At least they aren't 10 second delayed handoffs... At least they're exciting stall outs...
  13. Is this Joel Rodriguez's "U" connection at work, or the Cristobal/JoeMo connection at work (as @GoZips88 brought up in an offline convo)? Either way, seems like quite the get. We need to avoid being one of the teams that has been put on upset alert all day by their FCS opponent (NIU, CMU, etc.).
  14. Well there's the fun road trip opponent that was alluded to. Love it.
  15. The tire necklace is incredible. If we make noise this season, that will be highlighted by the national media.
  16. By far the emptiest 3 minutes I've ever heard from JoeMo. Part of that is on the reporters for not asking any legitimate questions, and part of that's on JoeMo for not realizing fans watch this and inserting something - anything - that speaks directly to them and their obvious concerns. "Tahj is a talented thrower" Left with more questions than answers after that one.
  17. I didn't see 10 second delayed handoffs up the middle on Saturday. Hope that eases some of your concerns.
  18. Unfortunately this is false. Most special ticket packages came with the hat. None of my 8 tickets came with a hat. Per a conversation with a fan services member, they apparently "sold out" of the hat on Aug. 17th. I pointed out the verbiage on the special ticket package, which failed to mention that the hat is "while supplies last" apparently. Total BS, as we were unable to make the pre game reception (it takes quite a bit longer to get to the game when you have two little kids that need to walk on every ledge, jump over every crack in the pathway, etc - who knew), and the hat was something I was very much looking forward to; it's a SWEET hat. Glad to hear the Akron special ticket attendance was huge. Beautiful day and the air show as secondary entertainment is always awesome (although the in-game entertainment department for the Guardians failed to play Danger Zone a single time). We need football attendance to reflect the momentum that seems to be building with the program and university.
  19. This isn't inaccurate. Yesterday's loss stings because we were superior to Temple in every facet of the game minus QB play. Every single flaw seemed to point back to QB play. Why not run the ball more? Temple didn't respect the pass a lick and stacked the box. Why did the WRs not look like playmakers? There was an inaccurate, inconsistent, indecisive, confidence-lacking QB throwing them the ball. What was up with the defensive breakdowns in the 2nd half? They were on the field too often after short drives resulting in a punt. Despite the correlation between the the poor QB play and the oil leak, JoeMo didn't make a move at the position. Huge coaching error.
  20. After yesterday I wouldn't call watching Irons throw the ball a "privilege".
  21. A-freaking-men, GP1.
  22. Undercuffler would become the backup. Furthermore, the last thing I care about is eligibility for players. I care about wins.
  23. It cannot be DJI unless he somehow gets Henry Rowengartner's tight arm tendons. His arm is done. The throws we saw in the Temple game are what I expect from Undercuffler. DJ's arm last year was lively and strong. It's just not there after the surgeries, and we need to pivot quickly to Tahj make sure he's ready to compete for Kentucky, Indiana, and the MAC portion of the schedules.
