  1. 6'2" Safety/LB from Delaware
  2. Sorry your would've-been-Heisman-candidate QB tore his ACL in a blowout loss against the Gamecocks, and you were undoubtedly not the same team without him, which 100% justifies finishing below Bama in the rankings. Cry about it more at the Orange Bowl, and feel free to send us another $1M check in the future if you want "revenge" on us for tackling your stud WRs that you left in while up 4+ TDs.
  3. Living rent free in their heads. Thanks for the $1M to kick our butt!
  4. We should collectively say a prayer for the Tennessee game announcers. I hope they're ok with this news that DJ will not being transferring to the SEC.
  5. DB/Safety is clearly the big focus. Rightfully so.
  6. Burn the redshirts for Prather and Mosengo. Let's see what they can give us.
  7. We aren't done with 2023 High Schoolers. 6'2" Safety. Very nice offer list that includes West Virginia, Arkansas, and Georgia Tech.
  8. Some of it was even us whooping our own ass.
  9. Legitimate question: is it too late to go to the Transfer Portal?
  10. It's not. These are DI basketball players and they're playing extremely low energy, pee poor basketball. There's very little leadership, very little (or no) fire, nothing. We need Banks, Cheese, X1.0, LCJ - someone to have a competitive bone in their body that gives a damn about winning in November/December on the road.
  11. The number of missed layups by this team...
  12. Lyles with some solid basketball IQ taking that charge. Make some shots. Burn Prather's redshirt.
  13. On pace for a 2008 KSUcks NCAA Tourney Special.
  14. Just wait until we thaw out...
  15. Strikes 1, 2, & 3 for me are the game being in Illinois. This is a drop 3rd strike that you pull a hammy on running down the 1st base line. Ew.
  16. He and the Syracuse WR are who I'm keeping an eye on.
  17. This is our most complete position group IMO. Do you think anyone will transfer out due to a lack of playing time behind Adams/George/Golden?
  18. Don't forget, this game is at 5pm EST.
  19. Not a fan myself of EMU/CMU/WMU/NIU. REALLY loathe MAC leadership.
  20. 5* recruits have highly-talented friends. Those highly-talented friends have other highly-talented friends. The spiderweb of talent that could find its way to Akron from these Portal adds like Lingard would really expedite the rise of the program.
  21. Base on Tre Bell's activity on Twitter, I would imagine we address the DB group via the Portal - heavily.
  22. If they address this, I'd back off my hatred of the conference. I have my doubts, though.
  23. I don't think anybody has ever argued for Akron to make a unilateral move to exit the MAC. The only move that makes sense is the American Athletic Conference. There's no excitement for students/alumni/fans/general community with the MAC, so I don't see how it's "the best fit". The MAC doesn't say, "Come on out this Saturday, spend your day tailgating and watching Akron football." It says, "Stay at home this week and watch the game on Tuesday night from the comfort of your couch." Soccer just got into the Big East - there is legitimate excitement from this move. Nobody is mourning the loss of MAC soccer. The same would hold true with football, basketball, etc. I can't speak for the other conferences. The only one that made sense was the Sun Belt, and geographically, WKU is a better fit for the MAC than the Sun Belt. MTSU is borderline for both, leaning towards the Sun Belt. What I can speak for is where WKU & MTSU would've slotted into the MAC from a competitive standpoint. WKU would've been a great add, as the Hilltoppers also have a solid fan base. Both schools would've improved the competitive balance of the league.
