  1. Looks like this weekend is a big weekend for visits for us. Really want Melvin Spriggs in the Akron Blue & Gold next year. Diamond in the rough.
  2. Former Florida and Miami (FL) player. Nice offer list.

  4. He was offered out of high school by Tibesar at Oregon State.
  5. Not sure if he was on scholarship.
  6. This kid is going to be good. He reminds me of Pat Mahomes - technique could use some work but overall fluid, athletic, can throw in any arm slot, keeps his eyes down the field, etc.
  7. His mom quoted Bubba Arslanian on Twitter and basically said that if you haven't seen him play, you're missing out, adding that she's stoked to have Jonas be able to play 1 year with him. Adding good families to the eternal Zips family is always good for the program. Wishing Jonas all the best in his Akron career.
  8. He would have to sit out a year if he transferred again, no? Also, I don't want him gone. Nick Chubb fumbled twice against the Patriots once. It's not like the guy was ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct on the sideline as a backup QB. Fumbles happen. Off-seasons are there to learn and improve upon mistakes.
  9. Coach spoke his mind. Player spoke his mind. Player is the one who has to prove himself now.
  10. You made this sound way more normal and subtle than it is. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/35207429/mississippi-state-dillon-johnson-jabs-mike-leach-says-enter-transfer-portal
  11. Ball State decommit.
  12. I believe Ferri recruited him to 'Cuse, too. Filling SJL's spot with a P5 receiver would be nice...
  13. Syracuse transfer WR. Led the Orange in receptions in 2021.
  14. @catdaddyp has been one of the best, if not THE best asset to the football section of this forum. This is a disrespectful, trash response to a thoroughly developed post that highlighted a pretty important aspect of the discussion. I'm glad you saw a 1-9 record. I saw a number of 1 score losses that were enabled by a porous defense that turned it on for the final 2 games - ironically when JU was under center.
  15. Purdue's Jeff Brohm heading home to take over the Louisville program.
  16. We just offered the next QB at Steele Wasel's high school. https://twitter.com/LandonGatson26/status/1600533255731965958?t=ApHEvUGuUOzPjdLERorl0g&s=19
  17. That's a good attitude to have, because we don't have a lot of commas and zeros to offer.
  18. "Hey Rick. Thanks for hiring away Sean Lewis. Can't State is a proper dumpster fire again." Love the shot across the bow at PCCC's AD.
  19. 6'2" DB. Huge offer list. Out of high school, he was a Miss. State commit, then decommitted - looks to be around the time JoeMo left. Then held offers from WVU, Kentucky, and Florida. Currently, he has a ton of FCS offers and some MAC offers, including the newly destructed KSUcks program. If I had to guess, I'd be willing to bet he's in the Akron Blue & Gold next fall. Our recent home visits seem to be with commits or recruits where we're their top option. Sort of the "final confirmation you're committing/signing with us in a few weeks," type of visit.
