  1. Was the plan to allow Kato to take Auburn's 1st Team hits, allowing DJ Irons the opportunity to stay more protected against the 2nd teamers? 13-13 speaks for itself no matter what level of the SEC depth chart you're facing. If Kato starts next week, Arth should be fired on the spot.
  2. Kato is so bad. To be a dual threat, you actually have to possess speed. Their DLine is faster than Kato. To boot, he doesn't even keep his eyes up field to see if a receiver gets loose. Did the check clear yet?
  3. Legitimately just watched one of our OL (#11 maybe?) pull from the edge to block the inside, and didn't touch a single Auburn Tiger; they were all by him before he could blink. Spoiler Alert: Kato had to throw it away.
  4. ESPN Pillow Fight of the Week?
  5. That's one helluva recruiting pitch Arth has. Punter Recruit: "Why should I go to Akron?" Arth: "You're going to get to showcase your talents - A LOT."
  6. All-American Punter. Kato talks a lot for a guy who is in his 6th year of DI college football and still sucks. Him being a Captain doesn't bode well for the state of the program.
  7. Local kid, Tyler Scott from Barberton/Norton HS, had the first TD for Cincy. 81 yd TD reception. Cincy has one heck of a schedule coming up - @ IU & @ ND. Rooting for them to run the table.
  8. Our Punter looks really good.
  9. What is that, 12-2 goal differential in the first 3 games? Wow.
  10. The practice highlights consistently showcase slant routes, and I didn't see any Milwee "up the middle" runs. Excitement is building. Am I right, @GoZips88 ?
  11. Pathetic attempt by MSUcks' goalie on the game-winner. I understand he guessed the wrong way, but it looked like an extension of his leg/foot may have deflected the ball. Amazing perseverance from Shokalook. That's one of my favorite goals I've seen the Zips score in quite some time.
  12. Bally has been an absolute nightmare as a Cleveland Indians fan. Their service is only available on old-school cable - Spectrum, AT&T, DirecTV - and has been absent from modern-day streaming services like YouTubeTV. The belief is that next year they will launch their own streaming service, I believe complete with betting options, so they didn't want a TV deal to hinder this. Regardless, Bally ranks up there with Kent State, Ohio State, the Steelers, Ravens, and Detroit Tigers - they absolutely, positively, 1000000% suck.
  13. Embick may forever live in the shadows of Porter, and that would be an absolute travesty. With less talent, Embick has arguably accomplished more (aside from winning it all) than Porter. That's not to discredit Porter or pit the two against each other, but more of an appreciation for the greatness that has been at the helm of this program for nearly 2 decades.
  14. I love when the Big Ten is our b****. You can take a break from wearing the crown, but you can't take the royalty out of the blood. We Are Soccer Kings.
  15. He was an All-Pro returner before the ACL injury. I don't think he'll have any issues latching onto another team with 4.38 40 speed.
  16. It'll be interesting to see how Wright State's season ends up. 7-1 is a total butt whooping. Go Zips!
  17. Oh. I didn't realize the unvaccinated were responsible for the 💩 seasons and attendance prior to the Plandemic. Thank you for enlightening me.
  18. Oof. I'll be "social distancing" from the JAR until OU/KSUcks/Canada/etc., come to town (assuming the Southwest Airlines Variant - or any other BS "variant" - isn't wreaking havoc on the sports world). #BeatPointPark
  19. I always enjoy having UMASS on the schedule. Obviously not what it once was, but it's better than Peeon U.
  20. Bumped out of position and never recovered. Ce la vie. Always great to see a Zip perform on the biggest stage for their respective sport/talent. Would've been cool had the broadcast mentioned the University of Akron, but beggars can't be choosers.
  21. 2019 Revenue by Conference Big Ten $768.9 million SEC: $728.9 million Pac-12: $533.8 million ACC: $496.7 million Big 12: $409.2 million It would be interesting to see if the ACC follows in the Big 12's footsteps and member schools begin contacting the Big Ten & SEC. The PAC12 can hold its own, especially if it adds some Big12 defects, due to its west coast proximity. If the Power 5 becomes the Power 3, does this help or hurt college athletics? Do G5 schools look to combine, creating better G5 conferences?
  22. Big12 will pick off the AAC, causing the AAC to refill. Too many big wigs & money tied up in the Big12.
  23. Texas Tech, TCU, and another school have apparently reached out to the Pac12. Kansas has apparently reached out to the Big Ten. Hang on to your hats, ladies and gents. Goodness, this is going to be wild.
