I even went back through to see if part of this was due to a couple 1-11/3-9 or so records in his first couple of years.
Nope.
1-11 year 1.
5-7 the next two years including wins against Pitt, Toledo, a promising showing against Michigan, etc.
8-5 in year 4.
Then 5-7, 7-7, and 4-7 (currently; most likely 4-8).
Call it what you want - plateauing at best, regression at worst - but this program certainly has a cloudy future as it currently stands.
Side note: when looking at the scores from Bowden's first couple of years, this offense was a lot more fun to watch back then.
