Dix Stadium is bad enough in comfortable fall weather, let alone in winter weather. I'm in favor of moving the @ Akron game up, but the @ Can't game either moves up as well or doesn't move at all. I still don't understand scheduling Morgan State, but I'm glad the game on my wedding day isn't one I'll be bummed to miss. Haha. As for the rest of the schedule, it works for me. I see 6 MAC wins at least, with the 2 question marks being NIU & CMU. Let's Go Zips!

Most schools are stepping stones compared to UCF. They might not be OSU when it comes to athletics, but they're one of the biggest schools in the country, which is more important for this type of role. I agree on his character, but I don't think that's ever been in question. He's an all-around great person.

I said after Buffalo DESTROYED us that I wasn't impressed with Buffalo due to their inability to make shots and put away a PATHETIC Zips squad that day within the first 5 minutes of the game. They've proven me right. Miami is the shock of the MAC this year with their strong competitiveness, and I'm excited for tomorrow's game.

I really like that we have balance sheets now. I think that is fascinating. I understand for audit purposes you'd want everything to be transparent, but since the programs are already breaking the rules, I'm surprised they didn't do more to cover up where the funds are going.

I concur. I'm ok with the losses as long as the effort is there; wins are that much better, too. Additionally, I think we've seen much better ball movement and defense.

I don't think there's automatic bias. There are certain refs that do truly seem to have a bias against Akron. Not sure if Zippy peed in their cheerios years ago (she's a cheeky marsupial) or what, but guys like Weimer and Borowski (has he since gone full time Big Ten?) always give Akron the shaft.
