id like to know the whole story about playing on thanksgiving. was really pressure on Can't and akron to play the game on thanksgiving,or is this a bunch of bull.somebody's got to take some blame.obviously we will have to wait for the gate numbers to see how much money akron is going to lose on attendance. i think both parties saw the opportunity to play. leauge office /uam espn which was good,but then espn backed out.hopefully they learned a tuff lesson.

buckzip not to sound negative, but i doubt many people will be watching at 10 a.m. on espnu. the marketing dept took a gamble ,and got screwed by espn. i don't have a problem with the game on thanksgiving if they are going to keep it there. if it's only going to be for one year then it was a bad idea. we traded in a guarenteed 30k crowd for? espnu?

hopefully toledo will beat bg. i just hate having the fate of your team in somone elses hands. i was so sure michigan state would have beat the rainbow warriors last year, and that fell through.hopefully toledo will rebound ,and beat bg for us.we had our chances at ball state; so no reason to complain if things don't work out. beat can't!!!!!!!!!

hopefully they teach geography at his school;since cbus is about two hr drive from akron.

i was against moving the game to thanksgiving. now we are on espn- to see what. we may be 5-5 at best,and can't has one win. big deal. the game will probably be meaningless for the mac standings. the exposure for akron will be great when in our "biggest rivaly game" the camera's show about 10k in the stands.

i thought the team would be 6-5. i thought our offense would put up more points after the the results of the purdue and niu games. the defense has been a good surprise. if we our going to compete for a mac championship they are going to have to get even better ;though because i just don't see the offense improving next year. we lose our two best recievers, and a great rb.unless the improvement can come from the o-line with some younger players. the only thing in our favor is bg, and miami are not the teams of the past few years. Can't and buffalo are terrible. still three year plus 500.00 seasons would not be bad.

except for Can't and buffalo the mac seems to be like the nfl on any given sunday any team can beat any other team.i think bg ,toledo,niu,and miami have fallen a little. still when you rush for 84 yards i don't think your going to win many games.

just like you predicted we would have no chance to win at bg.

i think the biggest thing is that we have to be able to run the ball. just like we did at the end of the game at bg. it will take alott of pressure off getsy,and open the passing game up. if we can run the ball,and don't turn it over you always have a chance of winning.the penalties though are going to cost us. i would have hoped jd would have fixed those all those problems by now. i think if we can win the next two we should have enough steam to beat Can't at home.with this team though nothing comes easy.
