this is what happenens when were not ready to play.all the posters talked about how we were going to roll over Can't,and Can't was lucky to win two mac games.hopefully we can put something together the 2nd half. we have to win this game.if we don't the season is pretty much done. Can't would have a three game lead with 5 to play.

does anyone know if it will be one the webcast, or just regular internet radio.

i just don't understand how you an miss extra points/short fg goals,get kicks/punts blocked. unless there are some snap/hold problems we are not aware of? there are plenty of kids in high school who can make extra points /short fg golas,but we can't find anyone who can? since we have had such good kickers in the past maybe the staff thought this year would be no different? i am not trying to pile on the coaches just wondering if they put all are hopes on one guy/then he got hurt.

that's to bad. look what happened at the rb postion should be a good example for alott of 2/3 teams guys. db is one postion where a team usually plays alott of guys anyways in nickel and prevent packages.

you cant blame kd for the ad for the schedule.from what kd has said no one will come to our house.they are afraid of getting beat by a mac team. what are we supposed to do play all acc teams on the road?i dont like the schedule either but it's kind of the same thing in football being in the mac.

the attendance problems- playing your first home game after being 1-2 is not going to get the casual fan out.the nc state win was great ,but we still were 1-2. when we played Can't first game of the year we packed the place. im not saying it has to be Can't. we need a home game week one,or two.plus i think the forcast looked pretty sad,and people might have just decided to stay home and watch osu.i was surprised there were 16,000 fans there.

the thing is.i give you guys credit for still hitting our guys pretty good even late in te game. you guys played a good second half, and did not quit.

does anyone know how many seats (roughly)are actually going to be covered up.is there any plans if we don't get a new stadium to do anything with the sections?i would think it would cost way to much to do anything at all with the rubber bowl at this point. i know some mac teams have re-done the stadiums in the past,but none were as bad as the rubber bowl is now.

zone. i do see what you are saying,but you can't force passes down the field. look what luke did at the end of the half.we were lucky to get the one pass reviewed, and went our way. it was a great job of our wr to take the ball from the cmu guy.the next play luke threw the int. not to make injury excuses,but i think dk going to out hurt our short passing, and running game. down at the goal line it would have been nice to see if he could have got in the end zone.

with allen out for the year i was worried about our depth at rb. while dk is not the fastest back in world he can get the short yardage,and catch the ball very well. we have no one who can replace that. hopefully the other buys will get the chance this week for some pt.my feeling is if kennedy is not near 100 % healthy sit him out. while every game is important the north teaxas game is not near as important as mac games.

north texas had about 100 total yards on offense against tulsa. im not taking them lightly,but we should come out ready to play and win this one.no excuses.

i will give jd credit for building a very good defense. they only gave 17 and gave the offense plenty of chances to win the game.

right now i am worried. we could not run the ball yesterday,and our kicking game is not good.our big win over nc state.well they got beat 37-17 last night.the bright sopt the defense i thought played pretty good all three games. the o needs to kick it in gear.we have toledo and western left.those are going to be tuff games to win in the mac.luckily for us i think the whole mac seems pretty balanced so far.

i agree totally. if you cannot kick what is an extra point, then we are in big trouble the rest of the year.

rushing yards (31-61) says it all.how much did it hurt not having kennedy when we had the ball down on the goal line? all i know is harvey is amazing. i cannot believe the guy is a freshman. the guy makes it look so easy.

true. but we did not get the job done on the goal line. we should have kicked the feild goal with 12 min left.

this is a guy who led us to the mac championship. the problem is we were stopped near the goal line, and then jd went for it on 4th down.luke can not block or run the ball.

the way this team plays it's hard to say how the season will end up.Can't is beating m.ohio,buffalo played bg into o.t. ,toledo lost the first two games then beat kansas last night. western was beating virgina. if anybody thinks a we will just roll into the mac championship game is crazy. tha's not to say we can't win the divsion ,but it will not be easy.

i have to agree with ryno. you can't keep trying to win every game in the last second. i realize teams play different and alott more prevent defense,but we need to come out right away and put some point on the board. with all the balance in the mac i think the east divsion winner will have a more than two losses in the divison ,and still win it.

all the talk of going 10-2 was way to much for this team!! expectations got way out of hand. i knew this game would be hard coming off a big win.going for it on 4th down earlier cost us now.with the time left on the clock we should of kicked the fg. bad call on jd's part. it was nice to win last week, but mac games are more important.next week even if we win it does not mean much. there is alott of football left,and i think the mac east is up for grabs. we can still win the division no doubt,the bad thing is how are we ever going to build a fan base when we come off a huge win ,and follow it up with a mac loss? let's face it most people don't care about n.texas state.

i do agree our pas rush has been suspect at best.at the same time we are making bcs teams throw the ball to try to beat us. in the past teams like wisky,and penn state would just line up and run all day. that is not the case now.

i think we have a good chance that if jd has a good year this year he will be gone.i hope im wrong,but no matter what we pay him it's a reality. our athletic budgets cant come closer to bcs schools. they get huge tv revenue money that they can throw at coaches.im not saying jd does not deserve big money. just saying that i am not the one that has to pay for it.akron does ,and football is not a money maker for any mac school. just the reality of the mac football programs.

one game at a time.we are on the road again. just ask montana state who beat colorado then lost to a d-2 school. i am worried about this game big time.

i just wondered about rumors of fans throwing things at the refs, or players,any incidents after the game?

this is definately one strange season so far. ohio also beat niu. toldeo ,and niu usually dont both lose in the mac the same day.buffalo seems to be competitive. who knows what to think of miami? northwestern got beat by a 1-aa team today.i think you may be able to lose a few games in the mac divisions, and still win it all this year. as the year goes on the weather always plays a factor in some games to.go akron.
