I'm really liking the looks of this class. The only thing lacking, IMHO, is a beefy DT. We were in the running for two good ones but one signed with Virginia Tech & the other signed with Houston. Here's an odd factoid: no Summit county players in this class. I'm still crossing my fingers for East's DeeArius Reese. He's the beefy DT we could really use, coming in at 6-2, 285. Word on the street is our two East recruits (DeeArius & Kyre Williams) may have some qualifying academic work they need to handle.

I just googled “Kevin Walls Westlake.” There wasn’t much on him from the typical recruiting sites, but the video that I saw was impressive.

So has an absolute stud-looking 6-6 WR from Westlake named Kevin Walls. I saw the 6-6 WR from Massillon (Something Morgan) play a few times this year & Kevin Wall’s video blows him out of the water. Kevin is FAST & a legit WR, not just an athlete like the Massillon kid.

They displayed little energy and less interest in sharing the ball as they had only one assist in the first half.

Toward the beginning of the game I noticed Ivey did the same - bounce pass to a moving Riak in the lane; came to Riak around his knees. Turnover. Of course. Haven't we yet learned we can't do that?

I don’t ever remember beating out a list of schools like, FSU, OSU, Nebraska, etc. Anyone else remember us ever winning a recruiting battle like that?

Hayes-Patrick had offers from FSU, UCF, Nebraska, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Toledo, Southern Miss, Indiana, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, FIU, and Ohio State.
