Yeah, gotta make the regular season matter for more than just pride. I remember Bob Knight didn't like the idea of a B10 post season tournament for exactly that reason. On the other hand... just thinking out loud here... high school teams get all excited for league championships (and rightly so), celebrating, cutting down nets, winning trophies, etc., and in high school everyone makes the post season tourney. So the league title is simply for pride as well. So maybe I'm over reacting. Idk.

On the other hand I love that Groce didn't use our last timeout to try and set something up... he simply trusted his veteran roster to push/rush the action & it caught Kent unprepared.

I started following the Zips during Coleman's last season. After Coleman came Dan Hipsher's lackluster tenure followed by KD. So, for me, Zips basketball was pretty irrelevant until KD took over.

YES!!! Tavari should be the first guard off the bench & should get AT LEAST 20 minutes/game.

Tavari has to be our 1st guard off the bench. He didn't score tonight but he's always probing the defense testing, setting things up, threatening... Then we have to pray either Big Game Hunter or Dawson are on tomorrow. If one of them is we win. If neither of them are we probably lose.
